Chapter 138 Pissing You off Deliberately

Chapter 138 Pissing You off Deliberately

Adelaide smiled gently and did not refute what Aadam said. She looked down at her watch, wondering

that Damla must have told Antonio the news. Now, she was looking forward to his reaction.

She felt the satisfaction and pleasure of taking revenge on Antonio, laughing even more happily.

She took Aadam's arm naturally and walked to the private room. This was a theme hotel. The first and

second floor were restaurants and there were rooms on the other floors.

"Welcome!"

The waitresses standing at the door bowed to them. Their voices were as sweet as the spring of a

mountain. Adelaide smiled back habitually.

In the middle of the small private room was a large round table that allowed more than a dozen people

to sit. A pot of fragrant flowers was placed on it. Scindapsus aurenus were planted in pots placed on

high shelves around the corner, showing great vitality.

One waitress pulled out chairs for them, and the other one was quick to help make tea for them and put

a menu before them. Aadam gentlemanly opened the menu and handed it to Adelaide for her to

choose.

"Bear Paw."

The waitress's eyes glowed when she heard it and quickly entered the name of the dish into the

ordering machine.

"Goose liver!"

……

Two waitresses looked at each other and smiled, immediately understanding that they were not

ordinary people. One waitress winked at the other one. The waitress who pulled out chairs for them got

it, took out a wine list from somewhere and bent down beside Adelaide with a professional smile,

"Madam, you didn't order any wine. Would you like to have a bottle of Lafite produced in 1961?"

The value of red wine was determined by the year when it was produced. They could earn a sum of

money equaling to two months' wage by selling a bottle of Lafite produced in 1961. Besides, they were

very crafty. If their customers did not want Lafite produced in 1961, they might want one produced in

1982.

In 1961 and 1982, the grape was of the highest quality and the wine produced with it had a special

flavor.

Adelaide frowned. She knew nothing about red wine but that it tasted sweet and puckery. Although she

didn't know how much a bottle of Lafite produced in 1961 cost, she was sensitive and subconsciously

felt that it would be expensive since she often attended parties with Antonio.

"We'd love a bottle!"

Aadam absolutely knew well about red wine. How could he easily miss the chance to show off when

she turned to him for help? Snapping his fingers, Aadam squinted with a smile and ordered.

Hearing this, Adelaide became indifferent again after feeling surprised slightly. Occasionally, she turned

around and saw two waitresses jumped almost a foot high after they came out of the door. Seeing this,

she wondered that the wine was highly likely to be expensive.

The wine and dishes were slowly served when they chatted. The bottle of red wine produced in 1961

was indeed more fragrant and mellow, but she could not tell any other thing about it. Aadam picked up Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

the Goblet, tilted it at an angle of 45 degrees, then slowly rotated it, and finally smelt its fragrance

closely.

He took a small sip and let it slide down his throat and into his stomach after two or three seconds.

"Good!" he couldn't help praising it. There was a trace of the smell of petals in the aroma of red wine. It

was only after a long time that he realized that it was the smell of flowers on the table. Indeed, it had its

unique taste.

Adelaide knew little about wine and seldom paid attention to it. She would agree if Aadam said it was

good. She nodded with a slight twitch at the corners of her mouth, "Well, it's good." She followed his

example, but still couldn't tell what was good about it.

They talked a lot. Aadam did know a lot and it was not an exaggeration to claim him to know something

about everything. Besides, he was so humorous that Adelaide laughed several times.

Just when the atmosphere was very harmonious, an angry man broke in. His eyes were so cold that it

seemed that the waitresses around him were frozen into ice. The two waitresses standing outside the

door tried to prevent Adelaide and Aadam from being disturbed the moment they saw someone trying

to rush in. However, they were frightened a lot when the angry man gave them a glance.

They swallowed saliva. They wondered, compared with Aadam who was easygoing and smiling, the

man before them was much horrible. He was extremely handsome. He had an angular face; he had

dashing eyebrows; below it were long and narrow deep eyes as black as obsidian; his white skin turned

red with anger.

This handsome man had such solemn expression that they shivered and forgot what they were

supposed to say. Until he broke in, they followed him foolishly and said cowardly, "Sir, you...you can't

come in."

Hearing this, the man turned around and stared at them again. They swallowed saliva and felt that it

was not easy to deal with him. They bit their lips as if they had made an important decision and ran

away without looking back.

With no one blocking his way, Antonio kicked the door closed. Aadam, who sat there without saying a

word, smiled happier. He got up and looked at the empty seat beside him, asking, "Mr. Antonio,

welcome. What about sitting down and having some food?"

Antonio pursed his mouth and kept silent. Ignoring the noisy Aadam, he walked to Adelaide, pulled out

her chair and pulled her up as if he were carrying a chicken. When he was about to leave, Aadam

quickly blocked his way with his smile frozen, "Mr. Antonio, Miss Adelaide is my guest. Isn't it impolite

for you to take her away without saying anything to me?"

"She's my wife!"

He said coldly and again wanted to leave this fucking place.

Adelaide threw his hand away in noncompliance and said with an enchanting smile, "Antonio, I like

him, so why can't I have dinner with him?"

Antonio was outraged. He never expected that Adelaide would hook up with Aadam after he forbade

her to meet Calvin! He felt that he was a cuckold whose wife had cheated on him many times.

Seeing this, Aadam made a little apologetic gesture with both hands and pulled Adelaide behind him.

He wouldn't let Antonio take her away unless she was willing to it, which was impossible under current

situation.

Antonio's face darkened with mixed feelings. He walked to Adelaide with patience, gritted his teeth and

asked, "Will you go back with me?"

He had never been in such a difficult position, but now he was as humble as a dog, begging for her

mercy. He clenched his fist for fear that he would broke out the next moment.

It seemed as if a century had passed. Adelaide shook her head and suddenly said, "If you've ever

heard what I've said once..." She didn't continue to say, but it was almost clear.

To annoy Antonio was but one of the plans for revenge. What he should feel most was his

powerlessness and blame for himself, she thought. She swore that she would make him regret deeply.

Just like she had imagined, Antonio was stunned, turning around and stumbling away, leaving her with

infinite loneliness.
