Sold To The Mafia Lord

Killing Spree

Liam held his phone tightly, feeling the weight of the situation as he scanned the familiar surroundings of the living room. He was seated on a plush chair, the leather cool against his skin, as he spoke to Alexander over the phone. The room was adorned with elegant furniture, tasteful artwork, and shelves filled with books that reflected Alexander’s refined taste.

“I understand ,” Liam said, his voice low and determined. “But how do you want it to be handled?”

As he spoke, Mrs. Gale, the elderly housekeeper, walked past the living room. Her eyes briefly met Liam’s, but she quickly averted her gaze and continued on her way, her steps slow and deliberate. There was something about her reaction that made Liam pause for a moment, a flicker of suspicion crossing his mind.

His attention returned to the conversation at hand. “About the little Lolita you talked about. What should we do with her?” Liam asked calmly, trying to keep his emotions in check.

Unbeknownst to Liam, Alexander had already made up his mind not to spare anyone involved in the recent events. While he was not aware of Mrs. Gale’s specific role, he had harbored suspicions about her for quite some time. Even before the incident at the cemetery took place, Alexander had noticed her odd behavior, her moments of lingering in the shadows, and her unwavering loyalty to their worst enemy, Knight.

On the other end of the line, Alexander’s voice carried a cold and calculated tone. “Come over to my study upstairs,” he instructed, his words devoid of any warmth or hesitation.

Liam ended the call and glanced towards the direction Mrs. Gale had walked. Something about her reaction had piqued his curiosity. He stood up from the chair, his tall frame towering over the room, and slid both hands into his pockets. With a confident yet purposeful stride, he made his way towards the hallway, heading upstairs towards the study where Alexander awaited.

Meanwhile, Mrs Gale cautiously emerged from the corner where she had been observing the conversation. Her eyes narrowed with fear, lines etching deep into her weathered face. The weight of her involvement in the intricate web of deceit and betrayal was beginning to take its toll on her. She had been part of Knight’s schemes for years, executing his orders without question. But now, as the situation escalated and the stakes grew higher, doubts began to gnaw at her.

Knight, her partner in crime, hadn’t contacted her since morning to discuss Their next move.

And now, it seemed that Alexander was aware of the little Lolita’s existence.

Mrs. Gale felt a sense of impending doom. She was terrified for her life, wondering why Alexander hadn’t taken action against her yet. The uncertainty only heightened her fear, leaving her in a state of despair.NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.

As Alexander sat in the dimly lit study, his gaze fixed on the darkened window. The room exuded an atmosphere of depression and coldness, mirroring the turmoil within him. He tried desperately to divert his thoughts from the gnawing pain that consumed him, but it proved to be an impossible task. The incident from earlier continued to haunt his mind, refusing to be silenced.

His eyes, bloodshot and weary, welled up with tears once again. He clenched the handle of the chair tightly, his knuckles turning white with the pressure. The pain and guilt within him tightened his chest, making it difficult to breathe.

The image of her face flashed before his eyes-Amelia, who had crosshairs of their twisted world. The weight of his actions weighed heavily on his conscience, and he couldn’t escape the overwhelming remorse that washed over him.

If he had known he would love Amelia later on, he would have taken his father’s advise a long time ago, He had always overlooked things a lot even when Amelia knew about it, himself was also aware but he always choose to turn a blind eye to these things and now it had bitten him so hard now. Alexander found himself questioning everything he had believed in.

The room seemed to close in on him, suffocating him with its oppressive atmosphere. The darkness outside intensified, casting long shadows that danced on the walls, as if mocking his anguish.

Desperate for a respite from the torment within, Alexander tried to push the memories away. He closed his eyes, attempting to find solace in the darkness behind his eyelids. But even in the depths of his mind, the scenes of that Corpse from the columbarium replayed mercilessly, each one a painful reminder of the choices he had made.

Regret clawed at his insides, consuming him with its relentless grip. He wished he could turn back time, erase the events that had led to this moment. But there was no going back. The damage had been done, and he had played a part in Amelia’s death because he had underestimated Ash moon and Maybe Knight Cyrus.

The silence in the room was broken only by the sound of his own ragged breathing. The weight of his guilt pressed down on him, threatening to crush his spirit entirely. It was in this moment of despair that he realized the true cost of his actions-and it cost him his wife.

Alexander’s hands trembled as he slowly released his grip on the chair.

Just then a knock came from the door and Liam walked into the room calmly.

Alexander was facing the window with his back to Liam.

Phoenix directly sat on the couch close by as he crossed both legs calmly, one hand was spread on the handle of the couch and the other was relaxing on his lap.

Alexander was silent for a while “I’ve thought about it! No more underestimating!”

Phoenix face had no ripple as he carefully listened to Alex before saying “That had always being your flaw Alex, you underestimate people a lot!”

Alexander sighed “I’ve learnt my lesson now!”

Liam sighed deeply before saying “don’t be this sentimental!”

Alexander swirled the chair and he was facing Phoenix this time.

“I’m not… the autopsy results are not yet out so before then… how about we go for a killing spree??” A murderous glint pass by his eyes as his eyes twinkled.

A broad smile immediately formed in Alexander’s face and Phoenix frowned so deeply.

Alexander was slowly going back to his former self…..

This was the part he had threw away a long time ago but it seems he wanted to wear it back on again…..

He was slowly getting out of control!
