Added into Daddy’s Life

Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Michael's P.O.V.

My heart rate picked up as I watched Mya's body crumple to the floor. She was having a full blown

panic attack. I quickly ran to my room and searched frantically for her asthma pump that Nathan gave

me before I took her home. I finally found it in my drawer and quickly ran over to her side. I propped her

body against the wall and tried to calm her.

"Ok baby, I want you to take deep breaths for me. Can you do that?"

She looked up at me with wide eyes as she clutched her chest. She nodded slowly and took a deep

breath closing her eyes. I help the pump up to her lips and pressed down harshly releasing the

medicine.

"Hold your breath for ten seconds baby.....that's it."

I counted slowly as she held her breath. She breathed out when I reached ten and seemed to be more

relaxed. I brushed my thumb over her delicate cheek as she took another deep breath. I kissed her

cheeks and slowly stood lifting her with me. "You feeling a little bit better now sweetheart?" She nodded

nestling her face into my neck. "Y-Yes sir thank you Mr. ---". She froze not knowing what to call me. I

smiled and rubbed that small of her back. "Daddy...you can call me daddy." She lifted her head and

looked directly into my eyes scrunching her eyebrows in confusion. "Daddy?" I nodded, "exactly baby".

I sat on the couch placing her on my lap so that she was straddling me. "Baby we need to talk." She

looked up at me with fearful eyes.

"Am I in trouble?"

I quickly shook my head before things got out of hand. "No no no baby we just need to communicate

about some things ok?" She paused slightly as if she were thinking but then nodded....
