An Ice Queen for sale (Alice)

Chapter 154

"Don't you think you owe an apology?" She stopped right in front of her." I think we didn't deserve that, Alice. After all that, we did for you. And not to mention how much we were worried about you. We truly believed that you died, or worse.... She lowered her head.

"I'm sorry"

Mum took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly. She lowered her head this time, putting her hands on her waist like she had so many things to say, but she didn't want to scare us away. After a few moments she looked back at Alice, and she continued, this time much calmer,

"It's nice to see you are healthy, and I would like to welcome you back into our family, but this time I hope you'll never leave us the way you did." Mum's voice was softer, and that made Alice calmer a little. She had a smile on her face and she nodded. "I promise that, Mrs. Sullivan."Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

"Good. So, I invited you two to a family dinner tomorrow, and just like I said to my son, there are no excuses. You must be there."

Alice looked at her in disbelief, just like I did when she invited me, but finally, she nodded.

"Thank you, Mrs. Sullivan. I think we have no other choice than but to attend." And she smiled. That made me frown, but mum smiled and nodded her. She gave her two kisses

"Then see you tomorrow, darling." Then she turned to me.

"See you tomorrow, Gideon."

my e

"Yeah." I said. She stepped to me, and she got closer to my ear.

"A nice looking and smart woman."

I moved my gaze on Alice, and I understood her. Even if I haven't agreed with her when she said in a relationship a woman could wear the pants, I had to admit that Alice was the only woman on Earth who could make me do what she wanted. I laughed, just like she did, then she turned around and walked out.

Alice walked to me with a smile on her face.

"Were you serious?" I whispered to her, avoiding mum to hear my question.

She shrugged her shoulders.

"Well, I don't think she would forgive me if I refuse her."

"Alice, even if my mum is like that, I don't know what my dad is going to say. He might just throw us out of the house."

She frowned.

"Is this case so serious?"

"Alice, it is serious."

She just looked at me like she tried to read me before she talked.

"Gideon, he is your father. I didn't spend a long time with them, but I noticed how much he loves you. Don't tell me he would exclude you from the

"Alice, in our world, what I did is called betrayal."

"But you saved them. They should be proud of you. You helped your family. If someone helps someone, the person who received help is usually grateful

I smiled. I walked closer, and I embraced her. My mum's words echoed in my head. Good looking and smart

"How much do you know about what happened?" I asked her quietly.

"Not much. I tried to ask Riccardo, but he wanted me to focus on skating."

I sighed, then I caressed her back.

*Come

on, we've got to pack

She looked at me with a little sadness, but she smiled and we walked upstairs. Apparently, seeing her old things made her happy. She only looked sad when she found her figure skates, which I bought for her. I sat next to her. "I'm gu

"I'm guessing your recent skates are better than these."

She smiled.

"They are just as good as these. I would love to wear these, but I can't change them now,"

"I know. You can save these for later. It will be good for something."

She looked at me and nodded with a smile. She put the figure skates back into the box, and she put it in a bag. Actually, I wanted her to use it, but I understood that even if she would have been foolish enough to change them now, probably her trainers would have forbidden that for her. "Are you ready?" I asked her.

"Yes, but do you seriously want to spend the night in the new house?"

"Yes."

"Okay" she said, and she stood up. I followed her. We grabbed our bags, then we strolled down. We only packed what was necessary. I planned to ask my people to take the rest of our stuff for us in the new house.

Finally, when we placed everything in the car, I had a last look at my first paradise, which turned into hell in the end.

I felt her hand slipping around my waist, and her head leaned on my shoulder.

"Will you miss this place?" she asked me and I shook my head.

"No. I believe our new home will have me in a few days."

"I hope so. And what are you going to do with this one?"

"I'm going to sell it, of course."

She didn't say a word. I opened the car door for her, and I helped her to get in. I drove to the new house. The main bedroom and the bathroom were spacious. We took our suitcases into the wardrobe and after we finished unpacking; I wrapped my arms around her waist from behind. It made her Biggle.

"What's next?" I asked her.

"I think we should eat first."

"I bet the fridge is empty."

"Then we have to do some shopping."

-frowned.

"Do you mean to go to the grocery shop?"

She broke free from my arms and turned around to look at me with a smile.

"Yes.

"I never go there." I said while I made a face.

"Well, then it will be a novel experience for you." She laughed and grabbed my hand. I rolled my eyes in disbelief, then I just followed her.

She searched for the nearest one on her phone, and I drove there. After we agreed on what to eat, we went in. It wasn't as horrible as I thought. Actually, just before we finished, I admitted I had a little fun checking and comparing the products before purchasing them, We drove back home, and finally I got what I missed for a long time. I stood at the kitchen door for a few seconds to watch my beautiful Alice while she was preparing for cooking in our house in our kitchen.

"Do you need help?"
