Billionaire’s Missing Darling

Chapter 61

Chapter 61

After a few failed calls, Olivia gave up and curled up on the sofa to read. It was rare for her to have free time. She did not have to busy herself with experiments or socialize with others. Olivia took out a novel and read it seriously.

It had been a long time since she had read a novel. She had only read documents and information. She felt that her mind was filled with papers. and information, and there was no literary aura at all. It had to be known that she had also written a few novels during her young period.

She read very quickly, almost skimming ten lines at a time. In less than an hour, she had finished reading a novel.

She stood up and stretched. Seeing that it was getting late, she prepared to eat some dinner.

Just as she was thinking about what to eat, Emma called.

“Olivia, are you still busy? Come to my place and eat something. Ethan is here too. I’ve prepared a lot of wine. Let’s taste it tonight.”

Olivia agreed. “Alright, I’ll be there in a while.”

After washing her hands in the bathroom, Olivia went to Emma’s room.

They had booked VIP suites. Every room had a guest restaurant where they could eat and meet guests.

When Olivia came over, Emma had changed into a simple white dress. Ethan had also changed into a suit and casual clothes.

Seeing that Olivia was still wearing the same clothes as before, Emma was clearly stunned and in disbelief. Then, she nodded, indicating that she understood. In the end, she went forward considerately and asked gently, “Why are you still wearing the same clothes as before? They’re a little dirty and uncomfortable. Why don’t you change into another set? I have a few sets of new clothes here. I hope you don’t mind.”

She looked like an elegant noble lady meeting a bumpkin who did not know etiquette.

Olivia felt that it was a little troublesome and shook her head. “It’s just a meal. I’ll change it when I sleep tonight.”

Emma sat at the dining table and supported her chin with her hand. Her

posture was elegant. “I understand. You might not have had this habit in the past, but the Taylor family is different. The Taylor family is a wealthy family. You have to follow the rules. You can’t wear whatever you want on any occasion. Otherwise, others will laugh at you.”

At this point, she turned to Ethan and said considerately, “Ethan, don’t despise Olivia. She just doesn’t know these things. I’ll teach her slowly. I promise to give you an elegant and generous wife.”

After saying that, Emma criticized Olivia’s dining etiquette and said that the way she used her fork was wrong.

When she said these words, she had been speaking slowly, as if she was thinking for Olivia.

Fortunately, Olivia had a strong heart. If it were anyone else, they would have felt uncomfortable and felt inferior, and terrified under such nitpicking.

This was the common mentality of people. When they saw people of a higher social class, their elegant etiquette, luxurious jewelry, and expensive clothes, they could not help but feel inferior.

Emma wanted to use this method to humiliate Olivia and make her feel inferior. She also wanted Ethan to see the difference between the two of

them.

After picking on the dining etiquette, Emma began to talk about wine again. She spoke tirelessly about the history, taste, and distinguishing of the wine as if she were familiar with it.

Those bottles of wine that cost thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of dollars were just ordinary wine that could barely be drunk in her mouth.

Her posture was very generous.

After she finished speaking, she did not forget to ask Olivia, “What kind of wine do you like to drink, Olivia?”

During Emma’s speaking, Olivia had already drunk a bowl of soup and finished a piece of steak. She was completely full.

Wine! She picked up the glass and took a casual sip. Then, she frowned slightly. “It tastes a little bad. I don’t like wine.”

“It tastes bad?” Emma chuckled. “Olivia, you can’t say that when you go out in the future. Do you know what you’re drinking? It’s the wine from a

famous winery, the second most expensive wine in the world.” She lowered her eyes and covered her mouth. “If you talk about wine like that, others will laugh at you.”

“Laugh?” Olivia turned to look at her. “Aren’t you laughing at me now?” Emma was stunned. She did not expect Olivia to be so straightforward. Olivia continued to shake the glass. Then, under her shocked gaze, she poured all the wine into the mushroom soup.

Then, she sneered. “This is what you call the demeanor of a young lady from a wealthy family. You’ve been mocking me for things I don’t understand.”

Emma quickly glanced at Ethan. Her face was pale as she quickly denied it. “I, I’m not…”

Olivia interrupted her. “Just because I haven’t changed my clothes and don’t know anything about wine, you’re laughing at me. I’m not laughing at you. Do you know Louis Pasteur? Do you know the molecular formula of penicillin? Do you know the key principle of immune system activation? If you don’t, look, I’m not laughing at you for being uneducated.”

Uneducated?

Emma’s face became twisted for a moment.

After saying that, Olivia stood up and looked down at Emma. Her gaze was indifferent. “I’m done eating. Enjoy yourselves.”

She walked towards the door. Just as she reached the door and put her hand on the doorknob, Emma’s nervous voice came from behind. “Olivia, you’ve misunderstood me.”

Emma cried coquettishly as if she had suffered a huge grievance. “That’s not what I meant. I’m doing this for your own good. I really want to teach you! I know that to be honest, pointing out other people’s mistakes will make the other party feel awkward and unhappy. I also know that you will misunderstand me, but I still have to do this because I’m really doing this for your own good. Instead of being criticized and mocked by others in the future, why don’t I bring it up first?”

She stood up and raised her hand to wipe her tears. Her tone was stubborn. “I know you hate me and don’t like me. No matter what I do, you think I have ulterior motives. I’m not asking you to respect and

accept me. I just hope that you won’t fool around and can learn etiquette seriously. Otherwise, if you make a mistake and embarrass yourself, you’ll be embarrassing the Taylor family and Ethan!”

Hearing this, Olivia turned around and glanced at her.

She thought to herself, “Emma does have the ability to twist the truth and cause trouble.”

She ignored Emma and walked to Ethan’s side. She extended her hand and said, “Do you want to leave with me?” Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Ethan was shocked. He did not know how the matter was related to him.

He only looked up and stared blankly at the beautiful girl in front of him. The Olivia in front of him was completely different from before. She was neither cold nor aggressive. Instead, she was playful like a cute cat. Every move she made was adorable.

It made people unknowingly fall in love with her.

For some reason, when faced with such a gaze, Ethan could not control himself. He subconsciously placed his hand in her palm and followed her in a daze.

It was not until he left the door and walked to the corridor that he suddenly came back to his senses.

“What’s going on? Why am I following her?” he thought and pulled his hand away.

“Why did you pull me out?” He looked at Olivia.

Olivia leaned against the corridor and bent one leg. Her posture was casual, but it was inexplicably beautiful.

“What do you think?” she shot back.

Ethan was puzzled when he heard her say, “I don’t want to listen to Emma’s mediocre piano music and her show–off history of wine anymore. Her pretentious words were too boring. Do you think I have nothing to do and came here to suffer?”

At this point, she suddenly leaned closer and looked straight at Ethan. “Why do you think I did these things?”

Her eyes were so beautiful that they seemed to contain the stars in the sky. Ethan was completely mesmerized and could not react at all. He could only shake his head. “Why?”
