Chapter 37 The Game
Chapter 37 The Game
Edward's companion didn't show during the dinner, and I couldn't be more curious. Most of them are in
their thirties, but they play like kids, especially Henry and Ashley.
After sitting for a while, Ashley suddenly clamored and said that he would play the game of "of course".
Henry immediately agreed. Gavin had never heard of such a game. He asked, "What the hell is this?"
I said, "It's just a game. When two people ask each other questions, no matter how they ask, they can
only say 'of course'. If you don't say so, it's a loss."
Gavin knitted his eyebrows and said, "What's the fun?"
I laughed at him for being left behind. He rolled his eyes at me and said, "It's true. As long as I don't
listen and just say it, I'll be invincible."
"That's not true," I said, "You see it first!" Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
Henry was the one who proposed the first round. Unfortunately, the wine bottle was transferred to
Edward, who was the most absent-minded person in the audience today. Henry asked Edward a
question that seemed to be the last thing he wanted to answer at the moment, "Did you get dumped?"
After hearing that, Gavin almost spat out the beer he had drunk. He whispered in my ear, "How can he
ask this d*mn question?"
"Of course, the question should be challengable and will be fun!"
Edward shrugged and pretended not to care. "Of course!"
Gavin stood beside me, praying that he would not be picked up for this game. I laughed at him and
said, "Could it be that they know something about you?"
Gavin quickly denied. "No, absolutely not! I'm innocent, and a clean hand wants no washing!"
Edward and Henry had a tie. Next, it was Ashley's turn to turn the wine bottle. I didn't expect that she
would turn to me the first time she turned? I looked at her smirking face and even thought that she did it
on purpose.
I was a little embarrassed and asked, "Is Henry your true love?"
"Of course!" Ashley answered very easily.
Amanda looked at it and said, "Darcey, you deliberately make the question easy! You let Ashley's go,
but she may not let you go!"
Sure enough, Amanda was right. Ashley sat up straight and asked me seriously, "Will you marry the
third brother?"
As soon as she asked this question, all the people fell silent. However, it was a little difficult to answer.
It was not the thing that I say yes and we would get married. It depended on Gavin's willingness.
But I said immediately, "Of course!"
I just didn't expect it Gavin added, "Of course!"
Both of us were stunned, but everyone was more vigorous in heckling. And in the midst of all this
merriment, I felt a bright eye fixed upon me.
My feelings were clear, and I'm not being sentimental. But I did not dare to proove, I told myself there
was nothing. There was absolutely nothing that will deliberately ignore this line of sight in the past.
After that, we went crazy for a while. Gavin was afraid that I would feel tired, so he said, "I booked a
room for you. I'll take you to rest first."
After returning our room, we suddenly became embarrassed. Gavin did not know why he looked so
uneasy. He suddenly said, "I'll go down and play with them for a while. Take a rest yourself."
