CEO’s Surrender: With You, I Can Never Win

Chapter 290

Chapter 290

Ten minutes later, the car stopped at its destination.

“Thank you, Mr. Turner. Shall I pay you the fare?” Finley asked Bryan before getting out of the car.

Mr. Turner?

Bryan was furious.

Why was Finley so polite to me?

Never mind. I took her hand, so I should tolerate her.

“I will accept kisses only.”

“Get lost!”

Finley slammed the car door shut and walked toward the building where Allison lived.

After Finley disappeared, Bryan looked lonely without a smiling face. Then, Bryan started the car and drove away.

Bryan drove back to his mansion.

Since Bryan came back alone, Harry knew that he had failed.

Mr. Turner must be in a bad mood now. Harry told Kate and the others to be vigilant and not to make a mistake to infuriate Bryan.

“Harry, come with me to the study.” Bryan changed his shoes at the doorway and handed his suit jacket to Kate.

Harry pursed his lips sadly. I was the first one to suffer. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

This was the study.

Bryan sat on a swivel chair with a cigarette in his mouth.

He quickly tapped on the keyboard.

Soon, a post appeared on the computer screen.

“I’ve sent the post to you. Check your phone. Send it to the media if you find no problem with it.” Bryan was efficient.

Harry looked at the post, and his eyes lit up.

There was enough evidence in the post to prove that Delia had committed suicide.

There were videos and statements from the police too.

Mr. Turner kept collecting evidence to clear Mrs. Turner’s name.

If Mr. Turner used the influence of the Turner family to suppress this incident, people would keep pointing a finger at Mrs. Turner.

Now, the truth would spare Mrs. Turner from further trouble and restore her reputation.

“Mr. Turner, how thoughtful you are! Why did you choose to release the post at night?”

It wasn’t the best timing now.

“She will go back to school tomorrow morning!” Bryan leaned against the backrest casually and took a drag of his cigarette.

Bryan didn’t want anyone to give his woman a subtle gaze.

He wouldn’t allow the others to slander his woman.

When the sun rose tomorrow, Finley at least could go to school with a straight back.

Lying on the sofa, Finley and Allison wore masks and played games.

After the game was over, Finley tore off her mask and went to take a shower.

When Finley arrived at the bathroom, Allison jumped up from the sofa and said, “Finley, take your phone! The trending topic…”

“What is the news? Why are you so excited?” Finley came back to the bedroom.

Allison handed her phone to Finley.

Finley took the phone and read the news carefully.

Delia, a student of Capital University, did commit suicide.

Based on the autopsy, Delia committed suicide in despair because she had fooled around with men

in the bar and gotten AIDS. She called Tricia before her suicide.

There was the recording of their conversation over the phone too.

The recording was attached to the post.

Finley played the recording.

Delia said, “Tricia, I have AIDS and will die soon. I don’t want to live anymore. Don’t you want to take revenge on Finley? I can help.”
