Cinderella And Her Beautiful Octuplets

Chapter 264

“What are you talking about?-” he said with the look of confusion on his face and Jessica felt more pain in her heart. He was pretending not to know what she was talking about.

“I know you didn’t go to see your aunt today, you went to see the Chairman of GTB publishing company at a restaurant, and you lied to me-”

“Are you following me now?” He asked and she stared at him looking speechless.

“Is that what you gonna say, if I’m following you? You fucking lied to me. You lied about having an aunt or a family here in Atlanta, you lied about your identity, you lied about the fact that you are a reporter, you lied about everything” she yelled and he stared at her with a look of surprise on his face wondering how she found out about all of this.

He’s been caught, damn!! He thought.

“Jessica you are getting it all wrong, I can explain,” he said and she shook her head and wiped her tears.

“There’s nothing to explain about, I know the truth now. You only came to me because you needed information about my family.

I would say you are a good liar and a pretender Matthew, damn!! It hurts because I fell in love with you and thought you were different.

The truth was right in front of me but I ignored it because of how much I loved you.

I thought you were different, ” she whispered and he tried moving towards her but she showed back.

“Get out! Take your things and get out!” She said and he stared at her for a few seconds and then nodded.

She probably needs space right now, he thought and with that he walked out of the room.

The moment he walked out, Jessica collapsed on the ground as more tears slipped down her cheeks.

She’s never felt the kind of pain she is feeling now. It hurts so much, my heart hurts, she cried out.

Meanwhile, Arianna is seen walking inside the house when Matthew walks past her with the look of anger and sadness on his face.NôvelDrama.Org holds this content.

She wondered what was wrong if he and Jessica were fighting. She decided to go check on Jessica. She climbed upstairs to Jessica’s room and planted a soft knock on the door but no reply.

“Jessica” she called as she opened the door slowly and then saw her little girl sitting on the floor crying out her eyes.

“Honey” she called as she walked inside the room. Jessica raised her head and saw Arianna.

“Mommy” she called as she stood up and rushed into her embrace, with more tears streaming down her cheeks.

Arianna felt her heart break into pieces as she saw her little Angel in tears. She pulled her into a warm embrace while consoling her.

“What’s wrong?” She asked as Jessica pulled away from the hug. Her eyes were swollen and red.

“He lied to me, he never loved me. He was using me to get information about this family ” she cried and Arianna stared at her with no expression on her face. She saw how hurt she was.

Jessica loved Matthew, she was willing to do anything for him even if it meant going against the world.

She thought things with Matthew were going to be different this time but it was worse. Jessica has never been lucky with men.

She sighed and pulled her into a warm hug again.

“It’s fine, you are going to be fine, I promise,” she said as tears gathered in her eyes

She felt she had failed as a mother to her daughter, she was supposed to protect her from all of this. She was supposed to check about Matthew and know who he is but she was blinded by the fact that her daughter was happy with him.

She blamed herself for everything. More tears slipped down her cheeks as she consoled her,

“Honey, I promise, you’ll be fine. Everything is going to be fine” she said as they both cried on each other’s shoulders.

Meanwhile, it was almost time for bed and the kids were done eating and were about to go to bed when the door burst open revealing Lisa.

“Okay time for bed, Mellisa,” she said as she stood hands akimbo.

“But you said I can spend the night in their room,” Mellisa said and Lisa let out a sigh.

“I changed my mind, you would be spending the night with me,” she said and Mellisa sighed softly.

She knows once Lisa’s heart is made up, it’s difficult for her to change her mind but right now she needs to make her have a change of heart.

“Please,” she said and Lisa moved towards her, carried her on her shoulder, and waved at the octuplets before walking out of the room.

The moment she got to their room, she dropped the little girl on the bed.

“You said I could spend the night there,-” she said as tears gathered in her eyes.

“I had a change of heart, Mellisa. I don’t trust anyone In this house” she said as she took her phone.

“The octuplets are nice and I trust them. They treat me like I’m their siblings and whenever I’m with them, I feel comfortable and at home.

I have never felt this way for a long time and finally, I found people I could call my siblings but you just keep pulling me away from them.

What kind of mother are you? I hate you so much” she yelled and then laid on the bed and closed her eyes as tears slipped down her cheeks.

Lisa sighed softly as she stared at the little girl who was lying beside her facing the other side of the bed. She felt her heart break at what she had said. “What kind of mother are you?”.

“Adrianna,” she called but no response.

“Adrianna I-” she paused as she sighed for the hundredth time.

“Have a good night’s sleep, Adrianna”, she said as she lay on bed beside her, lots of thoughts going through her mind
