Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 1163

Chapter 1163:

Malachi gazed at the flowers, conflicted. They were undeniably beautiful and valuable, but their CEO already had someone in his heart. The women in Ansport who once sought his attention now kept their distance. Yet, someone had still sent these flowers.

Was it because the sender believed their powerful background would make a difference?

He couldn’t help but wonder which young lady was bold enough to send these flowers, and why her approach was so unusual. Who would send roses to a man?

Malachi muttered under his breath, thinking it best to open the card and see who had sent the flowers before making a decision. If he handed them to Andrew without knowing, he could very well be met with a cold stare and a sharp, “Don’t you have more important things to do?”

Malachi knew Andrew all too well—his speculation about his boss’s attitude wasn’t just conjecture; it was a certainty born from experience. When he opened the card, his eyes immediately darted to the bottom right corner. The signature there shattered his composure in an instant.

It was from Madisyn? What could this mean? Was there some significance to today that he’d overlooked? It puzzled him—why would she send Andrew flowers right after their lunch meeting earlier that day?

Though his mind raced with possibilities, Malachi quickly reined in his thoughts. Carefully returning the card to its original position, he addressed the delivery person with practiced professionalism.

“I will personally ensure Mr. Klein receives these flowers. You have my word.”

Relief washed over the delivery person’s face.

“Then I’ll report back to my customer.”

The dramatic shift in Malachi’s demeanor after reading the card didn’t go unnoticed by the front desk staff. Curiosity burned in their minds about who could have sent flowers that passed Malachi’s stringent screening. Yet, knowing it concerned Andrew’s private affairs, none dared to inquire.

Malachi stood at Andrew’s office door, flowers in hand, and knocked. Only after hearing permission did he step inside.

“Mr. Klein, these flowers were delivered for you. I took the liberty of bringing them up personally.”

During his journey from the elevator to the office, Malachi had pondered why Madisyn hadn’t delivered the flowers herself, instead choosing to send a courier on this errand. He concluded she must be trying to create an air of mystery. In that spirit, he decided to play along, letting Andrew discover the sender’s identity for himself.

As expected, Andrew was caught off guard by the delivery. His handsome features creased into a frown, his expression hardening with displeasure.

“Don’t you have more pressing matters to attend to? Handle this yourself!”

Andrew had always maintained strict boundaries with those who didn’t know their places, and he wasn’t about to change now.

“If this happens again,” he warned, “your year-end bonus will be reduced by half!”

For once, Andrew’s predictable reaction didn’t intimidate Malachi. Instead, a knowing smile played at his lips as he said, “Mr. Klein, are you certain you don’t want to at least look? They were flown in specially from another country.”noveldrama
