Meanwhile, the woman next to Luke was staring at Dominic. She was glowing with excitement.

"Since Mr. Munoz has nothing to say, let's go," whispered Dominic into Vespera's ear after leaning down. He wrapped an arm around her waist and guided her toward the elevator.

Just as they passed by, Dominic was held back, and a sweet voice chirped. "Hey, wait!"

Vespera was surprised and turned to look. It was the woman with Luke. When Dominic heard that, his gaze immediately darkened, and he yanked his arm back. He said firmly, "I don't know her."

"But she..." Vespera wanted to say something, as the way the woman had stopped Dominic felt far too natural.

The next second, the woman said, "I know you. You're the handsome man."

Confused, Vespera looked at the woman's innocent, childlike gaze. She immediately understood that the latter had intellectual disabilities.

The woman Luke had brought home in the middle of the night had a severe intellectual disability.

Vespera's expression turned cold, and she said, "Luke, take her back. Wherever you found her, take her back there."

Luke caught the anger in her voice and let out a mocking laugh. "What's the matter? Are you jealous?"

Vespera's glare struck something in Luke's chest. He was already in a bad mood,

but seeing her standing there with Dominic pushed him over the edge.

Suddenly, Luke smirked evilly and shoved the woman, Carly, toward

Dominie. "Go on. Go toward the handsome man. He likes you a lot. He'll take good care of you.

Vespera was speechless. On the other hand, Carly looked thrilled. She immediately tried to hug Dominic.

But Dominic sidestepped her neatly and said flatly, "Mr. Munoz, you seriously need to get your head checked."

Then, Dominic took Vespera's hand and walked past them into the elevator.

Luke walked away and didn't even glance back. He passed through the security gate and went to the garage.

Vespera looked at Carly, who was smiling at Dominic in the elevator, and then at Luke's retreating figure.

Was Luke insane? Why would he leave Carly with them?

As the elevator doors shut, Carly inched closer to Dominic with a sweet smile.
