Chapter 6
Chapter 6
"Tell me, what message do you have for me?" asked Scott.
"Master wants you to see him now," said one of the men wearing sunglasses with a large build.
"Why he wants to see me? Hasn't anything serious happened lately?" asked Scott.
"Master, perhaps you forgot what happened last night?" said the man again.
Scott was shocked and wondered how the High Court knew about last night's event.
"But last night no one was hurt. We're just fighting normally," Scott replied.
“Sir, there have been many victims. Sorry, we can't talk much more. We wait for your treatment to
finish, then escort you to the Master," said the man again.
"Ok."
Then, Scott stood up and walked out to call the two nurses to come in. Subsequently, he was treated
again under the full supervision of the men earlier.
After everything was done, Scott wore his clothes and walked out of the treatment room. However,
before his feet took further steps away from the hospital area, he took the initiative to meet Lisa first.
At that time, in the room, Lisa was talking to Sean. Meanwhile, Bruce was out to buy some food and
snacks for the three of them. When Sean and Lisa saw Scott standing in the doorway, they both
immediately stopped their conversation and looked at that handsome man.
"Scott," Lisa called the man's name. Scott smiled and walked slowly towards the bed where the girl was
lying and stood right beside her.
Sean who did not want to disturb the two of them then went out to give time for them to talk more
intimately.
"Hi, how are you? Is everything okay?” Scott asked awkwardly.
“I feel better, although my body still can't move more freely. But, all is well. How are you? How's your
wound?" Lisa asked worriedly.
"There's nothing to worry about from me. I'm glad to hear that all is well. Then, I'll go first, I have a
business to attend to." Scott prepared to walk away, then the man turned and walked towards the exit.
"Okay, thanks Scott for everything."
"Would you like to go out to dinner with me someday?" Scott said with a smile and turned his head
back to look at Lisa.
Lisa also smiled, then replied, "Okay. But, we don't have each other's cell phone numbers yet."
"Sorry, I forgot to bring my cell phone. Tell me, where's your house? I'll visit later," Scott replied. Then,
Lisa mentioned the address of her grandmother's house.
"So Dorothy is your grandmother?"
"Yeah, do you know her?"
"Of course I know her. I know almost everyone here. Okay, if the time is right and allows, I'll come to
visit. Is it okay?”
"Of course it's fine. Besides, maybe my dad and grandma would love to know you as the person who
saved my life," Lisa replied.
"We will see later. Bye." Scott waved and walked out of Lisa's room.
While watching the man walk away, Lisa smiled happily. She didn't dare to hope for much, but it was
only fair to admit that Scott was handsome. After talking with him several times, Lisa was quite
impressed.
Meanwhile, Scott finally arrived at the headquarters of the High Court. After getting out of the car, the
man rushed into the headquarters followed by several men who were bodyguards for the High Courts.
Finally, Scott's steps stopped in front of the door where one of the chiefs of the famous mysterious High
Court named Mr. James stay. Scott knocked on the door of his room several times until a voice from
inside invited him in.
"Come in," said Mr. James.
Scott slowly opened the door, then greeted Mr. James.
"Good afternoon, Sir. I heard the news that you wants to meet me. May I know what's going on?" asked
Scott.
"Sit down," replied Mr. James.
This time it was unusual for Mr. James to meet Scott alone without his assistant, only his face was still
covered by a mask. The middle-aged man was indeed very mysterious, it was rumored that no one had
ever seen his face.
"Tell me what happened last night?" asked Mr. James, looking at Scott.
“Last night, Fred challenged and asked me to fight. At first, I refused, but he insisted, finally I accepted
the challenge and we fought in the forest far from the settlement. Then, I saw that he seemed to be
chasing something. I got suspicious, then I followed him, and it turned out that he was chasing two
teenagers until they were pushed to the cliff. When he was about to attack them, I held him back. Then,
we fought there until finally my body was thrown into the abyss along with the teenage girl. That's all I
know," Scott replied, looking out the window.
Mr. James took a deep breath and looked out the window, then said, “What happened next was beyond
your imagination. Haven't you received a report from anyone yet?"
"Not yet. I was just rescued this morning along with that teenage girl.”
"Does she know that you are that wolf?" asked Mr. James.
"No, she doesn't know."
“Many victims fell from your side and Fred's side. It's just that Peter got hurt and died."
"What? How did it happen? Isn't there nothing that can match Peter's strength?" asked Scott in
surprise.
"No matter how strong he is, if he is attacked from various sides won't the result be the same?" asked
Mr. James in a serious tone.
"Yes, you're right. Sir."
"Now out of respect for Fred, I ask you to attend Peter's funeral."
“B-but….”
"But what? You want to go against my orders?”
"It's not like that, Sir. It's just that maybe this isn't the right time. Fred is grieving the loss of Peter. If he
sees me I don't know what will happen."
“But, this is an order. Just do it and see the results.”
"I'm not sure about this, sir. He will get angry and mess things up.”
“I will send her a message through you. Take this letter and give it to him."
“Sir, I am not sure. I don't want to mess things up."
"Follow my orders, Scott."
Just as Scott was about to interrupt Mr. James' conversation again, there was another knock on the
door and the sound of someone asking permission to enter the room.
Mr. James let the person in and soon the door opened.
"Mr. James, there's a letter for Mr. Scott," he said.
Scott was surprised and looked back, then the man handed the letter to him.
Scott looked at Mr. James, and vice versa. Then, slowly the handsome man opened the letter and his Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
