Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1403

"No, no, no... I don't want this! Please, have mercy on me, it was all Rosa's doing, it has nothing to do with me!" Rosa?

Hearing the name, Fiona nodded thoughtfully. "If that's the case, I won't make things tough for you. Just call her over, and we can settle this once and for all, alright?" The group around her was all too eager to have Rosa brought in, hoping to pass the buck. Every crime has its culprit, and they were more than happy to point fingers. The leader, trembling slightly, fumbled for his phone to make the call. It wasn't long before Rosa showed up, her legs almost giving out beneath her at the sight of Fiona. "Weren't you kidnapped? How could you..." she blurted out, quickly realizing her mistake and clamping a hand over her mouth, eyes wide with fear.

Fiona regarded her as if she were foolish child, the little snake on her arm growing restless, itching to slither free.

With deliberate steps, Fiona approached Rosa, looking her up and down with feigned surprise. "I thought the mastermind behind such a sneaky plot to kidnap me would be someone impressive. But now, it seems... you're not much at all."

Rosa was out of her depth, confronting both tigers and snakes in this scenario. From the moment she arrived, she knew there was no escape. Her knees felt like jelly, and she could only lean against the wall, gasping for breath. Her eyes darted to the menacing tiger in the corner, sending shivers down her spine.

Fiona crouched in front of her, a sly smile on her lips. "Scared already? Such a shame, there's still a lot you haven't witnessed. Your people already spilled the beans-every debt has its debtor. So, here you are."

She squinted her eyes and grinned, "Fancy a taste of having a snake slither through your insides, hmm?"

Just the thought made Rosa's stomach churn with sharp pangs. Seeing the snake flick its tongue at her, she felt her scalp tingle, fighting off a wave of nausea.noveldrama

Summoning her strength, she glared

at Fiona, teeth clenched. "It's all

because of you. If it weren't for you, wouldn't have lost my education! You deserve this! Even if I

orchestrated the kidnapping what

can you do about it?" Conte belongs to

Fiona found her defiance amusing, especially when she was clearly cornered. She wasn't in the mood for more back-and-forth. A qufek glance at her watch reminded her of the time wasted here.

With an impatient tilt of Rosa's chin, the snake had already made its way halfway up her face. Rosa's vision blurred with fear, teetering on the brink of fainting.

But Fiona wasn't about to let her off that easily. She tightened her grip on Rosa's chin. "I told you not to mess with me. You didn't listen, so here we are."

No sooner had she spoken than the snake slithered down Rosa's collar. Rosa screamed, rolling on the ground in a desperate attempt to dislodge the snake.

Fiona watched her impassively. Rosa's reaction and Fiona's own analysis of the situation made it clear that Rosa was just a pawn.

She and Fiona had no personal vendetta, so this couldn't possibly be her own doing. It was highly likely she was covering for someone else.

Fiona tapped her cheek thoughtfully,

her eyes narrowing as a name flashed through her mind. It had to be her—the only person who found Fiona so unbearably hard to deal with.
