Louise felt a chill creep up her spine as she noticed the mixed looks everyone was shooting her way. Her lips quivered, but not a word managed to escape. The video was right there, undeniable and damning. There was nothing she could say in her defense. Rosa, that snake! She'd secretly recorded everything and handed it over to Adam and his crew!

"So, it really was you." Nash leaned against the doorframe, slowly straightening up, his eyes filled with disappointment as he looked at Louise. Even though he'd already had his suspicions, confronting the evidence brought a whole new wave of emotions. Louise had grown up alongside him, and he had always seen her as a close friend. He'd stood up for her countless times, but now she'd gone and done something so cruel. She'd orchestrated a plan to have a group of thugs kidnap a young girl. She was clearly out to destroy Fiona!

"Oh my God, Louise is so evil. She actually arranged for Fiona to get kidnapped!" someone blurted out in shock. "And to think I saw her as a pure-hearted goddess! But her heart is so dark!"

"Just moments ago, she had the audacity to play the victim, claiming Fiona was targeting her! What a shameless act!"

"The goddess facade has crumbled. Honestly, I'd suspected for a while that Louise wasn't as innocent as she seemed. But you guys were too dazzled by her looks to see it."

When someone falls, everyone's quick to push. Those who had once defended Louise were now the ones throwing the harshest words her way. They'd supported her before, but now they were the ones cutting her down.

Louise bit her lip until it turned white, her whole body shaking. These people! How dare they speak about her like this! No matter her flaws, she came from a noble background, something they couldn't even begin to compare with!

"Mr. Adam-" Mr. Trevor's face was sullen as he addressed Adam. Having a student involved in such a scandal was a blow to his reputation too.

"Principal, you're not seriously considering keeping her in school, are you?" Adam's hand rested casually on Fiona's chair, his fingers tapping lightly. "That would certainly give me a new perspective on Westbrook High School." The implication was clear: Louise needed to be expelled.

Mr. Trevor paused before saying,

"Given the disgraceful act of kidnapping a fellow student, Louise cannot stay at Westbrook Highnoveldrama

School. I'll inform Mr. Garcia to expel her immediately."

With or without Adam's pressure, Louise's actions warranted her dismissal from Westbrook High.

As their conversation unfolded, Louise's face grew even paler, looking more stricken.

"Well, that's sorted then." Adam clapped his hands. "The rest is out of your hands; let the police handle it."

The mention of the police sent a jolt through Louise.

"Oh, I almost forgot," Adam said, cheerfully. "Louise, right? I hear you've got connections at the police station. Your uncle's the chief, isn't

he?

He clicked his tongue, adding, "Funny thing, I'm his boss."

"Do you think he's going to risk crossing the McCoy family for you?"

Adam's words were delivered with a smile, but they were as chilling as ice. Louise nearly buckled under their weight.

Adam turned away from her,

uninterested. His gaze softened as it landed on Fiona, his tone shifting to one of warmth and affection. "Hey, sweetheart, nothing worth sticking around here for. Want to head out with me?"
