Chapter 29
Chapter 29
Sofia turned on her mobile phone and flipped through the materials while taking notes. When inspiration came, she simply sketched it with a brush.
She made soup for Daisy, who could eat when she got home. from work.
Thinking of this, the pen in Sofia’s hand stopped. If she could make a lot of money, if her mother’s health could get better, if she could save money, she would not let Daisy continue to drink.
Her body would be ruined if she kept drinking.
Daisy liked flowers. She lived in the North when she was a child. Her father was a coal miner and died in an accident.
But her father’s pension was cheated out by her mother’s lover, and her mother jumped into the river in anger. Her grandfather had passed away long ago, so she lived with her grandmother.
In her sophomore year of high school, her grandmother fell ill, so she became a wine hostess to treat her grandma.
However, her grandma still died, but she was stuck in the mud and could never get out.
Daisy once told Sofia that she liked flowers the most. Her hometown was desolate, and only in summer, her grandma’s yard was full of flowers, which has become her best
memory.
Sofia painted flowers all over Daisy’s T–shirt, and it was in full bloom.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door outside.
Sofia was taken aback, she glanced at her watch, it was two o’clock in the morning.
Daisy usually returned after three o’clock. Three o’clock was considered early, and many times it was later.
It’s too early to come back today, Sofia thought Daisy must have forgotten the key.
“Wait a minute, Daisy. “Sofia put down the pen and walked to the door.
She hurriedly opened the door and said with a smile, “Did you forget to take the key…

Sofia’s smile froze, and she looked at the man standing at the door in disbelief.
This was an old residential building. There was not even a decent property department. The corridor door below was broken down by someone and sold for money. Anyone could come in.
The walls were mottled and gray, and red or black phone numbers were sprayed on the dirty walls that could not be seen in color.
The light from the room shone out, covering Finley’s stern face. He was wearing a high–end black suit, his hair was a
little messy, his silk tie was torn loose, and he exuded a dignity aura…

In stark contrast to the dilapidated and poor surroundings, he was handsome, but at this moment his face was gloomy.
His body exuded a strong smell of alcohol. Sofia took a step back in fear, and subconsciously wanted to close the door, but his strong arm blocked it. He raised his hand to grab Sofia’s neck and pushed her into the door.
With a bang, the door was slammed open.
Sofia screamed, and the neighbors next door didn’t care about other things.
Sofia’s screaming stopped abruptly. Finley pressed her against the mottled wall and bit her lip.
Sofia’s eyes widened, and she raised her hand to try to push. Finley away.
His big hand grabbed her two hands that were pushing and beating and pulled them to her head.
The other hand grabbed her waist, making her unable to
move.
He bit her lip in retaliation, and Sofia opened her mouth in pain, and he drove in to deepen the kiss.
