This is my chance to uncover the truth about the fake prison letters and whatever shady deal they’re involved in here… I’ll fucking end Freddie for this
I can’t believe he would even do this after everything I’ve damn well did for the guy too? He’s fucking over!
I quickly think about my next move…
If I enter the pub through the same door as them now, I risk being caught too soon, and that won’t help me find out anything that I need to know…
I need to find another way to gather evidence without raising any suspicion – for now at least – so I have to find another way inside!
I can’t use the main entrance either, since too many of the locals know me now. All it takes is for one of them to call my name, and for Freddie to hear them!
I look around and notice a ventilation window higher up which is slightly ajar near the back of the building. It’s risky, but it might allow me to listen in on their conversation without being seen anywhere.
My mind suddenly darts back to the similar scenario that Lottie had gotten herself involved in back at my office… however, her vent was only slightly above the floor, and mines is eight feet in the damn air!
Carefully, I make my way towards the window, ensuring that no one is around in the alley watching me as I
move forward…
Standing on my
my toes beneath it, I strain my ears to catch any words from inside of the pub. I can hear muffled voices, but the noise from the bar and kitchen makes it difficult to make out the conversations clearly.
I grab a nearby crate, using it to step up on, before I haul my body up and into the large vent successfully squeezing myself inside.
I reach for my phone, placing it on record for backup purposes. I done this often in these types of scenarios just in case anything goes wrong, or with
the slight chance that I forget any major details. With the red record button flashing on, I begin to crawl forward. NôvelDrama.Org content rights.
I follow the pattern of the vent around, attempting to map out the directions of each room of the pub which was currently beneath me..
I was currently above the kitchen, so Freddie’s private room must be straight along and to the left of here!
I crawl, cringing at the banging sound of my feet as I hit against the sides, as I hope not to draw any unwanted attention to myself up in here…
As I inch my way through the ventilation system, my heart races with anticipation. I must remain quiet and undetected to find out the truth here…
The vent bends and twists, and finally, I spot a perfect small opening that allows for me to peer down into Freddie’s private room below.
From my hidden vantage point, I witness Lottie’s mother and the dirty cop exchanging knowing glances with Freddie. The wrapped–up package sits in the center of the table now, its contents clearly playing a key part in this horrific exchange…
My eyes narrow as Freddie begins to unravel the packaging, as I see the familiar letters from before. Those are the exact letters that had been delivered to Anna’s house – all addressed to Lottie, from Tommy.
It sickens me to think that they’ve been tormenting her all this time, exploiting her vulnerabilities for their own gain… and using Freddie of all people to deliver them by the look of it!
snow?
I struggle to comprehend why Freddie, someone who I once considered a friend and mentor, would just betray us like this now!
My mind races, trying to find a logical explanation for his actions. And then it hits me greed and desperation – nothing more, nothing less.
As Freddie’s moves the letters aside, a thick stack of cash lays beneath, as he picks it up and flips through it with his thumb.

I gave this man everything he could ever dann want… I practically paid his bills when I would fight for him illegally every weekend! When my busi took off, I even bought him a brand new gym where his fighters could train – paying him as a manager there on top of all of that!
I even fucking agreed to think about going professional as a fighter – having him manage met He’s a fool!
I’ve handed him an easy life on a silver fucking platter, and yet his greed still takes over him.

“So how long do you plan on doing this dumb letter stuff? Lottie clearly isn’t bothered by it so what’s the point anymore? Every time I see her, the girl is happy… well that was until she ran in here the other day having been chased through town!” Freddie begins to ramble, as I glare down at them from above.
“Chased? By whom?” The cop cocks his head in confusion, causing me to want to yell out and curse down at them
What the fuck does he mean by who? Weren’t they the ones who arranged the chase?!
“Do you both not know about the chase? I just figured that it was one of you that arranged for someone to follow her back from school… funnily enough, she ran in here for help!” Freddie chuckles, turning my stomach at the betrayal happening before my very eyes.
“We didn’t ask for her to be chased… though that is another great idea to get her to shut that stupid mouth of hers.” Her mothers harsh tone comes next, venomous and filled with hate.
“Wait so… who the hell chased her?!” Freddie questions, as they all look to one another and shrug.
I don’t understand…
“Probably some kid from her school? I don’t blame them either. She’s always been fucking weird!” Her Mom snorts next, causing them both to chuckle.
I can’t believe my eyes here….
“So what’s the plan anyhow? I deliver these letters every week until they run out again? You’re paying me an awful lot of money just to deliver some hate mail. Freddie leans back in his chair, as I begin to sweat profusely from both anger and the sheer fact that I was crammed up in this tiny venti
“Nah, you see Freddie, there’s an end goal here. The cop throws out his hands, as Freddie leans forward to place his elbows on the table.
“Yeah I figured! So what is it?? Freddie pushes them, as Lotties mother nods at the cop and smirks knowingly for him to explain………
Something doesn’t feel right about this… where are they even going with this shit?!
I decide to end the recording on my phone, following my gut instinct, as I switch over to my camera – filming the encounter from above.
Just as the cop is about to speak, I decide to make a scratching noise against the vent, causing them all to look up – revealing their clear faces to the camera as they do so.
That’s all the evidence I need night there…
“The hell was that?! The cop asks aloud, as Freddie just waves him off- seeming unbothered.
“Probably just a rat or a bird that’s gotten in from the outside! I’ll have it checked tomorrow… just continue!” Freddie trails off, as I almost scoff at his
A rat? He’s the only damn rat in this place!
“Well anyway… we didn’t just get in touch with you to deliver hate mail to Lottle… we want you to kill the girl when she least expects it. The cop announces, as my law practically hits the floor.
Did I hear him right?
“KILL, HER?!” Freddie remarks, seeming shocked, as Lottie’s mother bushes him, suddenly pissed off at how loud he had yelled.
“I know Tommys family well…they are devastated with what happened to their son… They only want justice. It’s them who have been paying you to do all of this, not us. They know that you’re close with her current protector… Alex is it?” The cop ponders, as my mind races with eighty different ways in which I could kill this prick!

“I can’t just k
kill the girl! Ales will lose his damn mind! He will figure out that it’s me eventually and what happens then? I may as well write my death certificate at this rate!” Freddie retorts, growing increasingly frantic

Little does he know… he’s already signed it! He’s
officially on my kill list!
“Tommys family desperately want for him to get out on parole the second that he has the chance to apply for it, but the only thing stopping him from being successful with getting out, would be Lottie. She will no doubt show up every time to remind everyone just how bad Tommy had treated her. She needs to go, Freddie.” The cop shrugs, unfazed by the matter.
“So what then? I just kill her? She’s your daughter, are you seriously ok with all of this then? Freddie turns the question on Lettie’s mother next, as the woman rolls her eyes.
It seemed to me that the woman was battling an addiction at this point, judging by her appearance, marked arms and jitters…
“She was dead to me the minute that her father left! She was always his kid, never mine! The deranged woman suddenly chuckles, making my stomach
As I continue recording, my blood boils with rage and fear for Lottie’s safety.
I’ll have to kill them before they can do anything to her… I don’t mind having blood on my hands, not with this…….
My grip on my phone tightens as I grow angrier, trying to steady my trembling hands. I silently vow to protect her at all costs…
Listening to Freddie’s desperation and the cop’s coldness, I realize that Lotties life is hanging by a thread here,
Tommys family’s twisted idea of justice is pushing them to the unthinkable, and I won’t let that happen. I’ll wipe out every last one of them before they get the chance if I have tot
“I’ll do it… only for the right price of course!” Freddie’s sudden agreement to the plan has me shaking.
He will be dead by tomorrow… I’ll get them all when the time is fucking right… terrify them when they least expect it… put them through hell before I kill them!
As the meeting concludes, they agree to give Freddie some time to think a of the month which gives him only two weeks
about how and when he will do it – however they want it done before the end
Lottie’s mother warns him not to betray their trust, reminding him of the consequences, stating that her cop boyfriend could have him landed in jail even for something he didn’t do.
I decide to make my way back through the ventilation system, my mind racing with the urgency of the situation.
Once outside, I run back around the corner and signal to lace that we need to leave immediately, I need a new plan, one that will be untouchable and will leave them all for dead….
This is officially a war!
