Chapter 2443

Chapter 2443

Rose looked at the message on his phone and his face darkened. He did not expect Snow to ask for help at this time.

By common sense, if Snow encountered danger, the first person he should call for help would be his boss in the United States. Moreover, Rose clearly remembered that he had previously asked Warwick and the others to quietly let Snow go in the follow-up anti-monitoring operations.

Although they had not known each other for too long, Rose was very confident of Warwick’s ability to handle everything. He refused to believe that Warwick would make such a simple mistake and put Snow in a dangerous situation where he needed to call for help.

There must be something behind this!

Could it be that Snow doubted the role I was playing, and so he came here to sound me out?

The news about Rose’s death had already been spread and, as an intelligence officer, Snow would not be ignorant of this ‘big event’. So if Snow probably knew that Rose was ‘dead’, why did he ask for help?

Another message appeared on his phone.

Snow: [Laine, I saw in the news that you died. But I don’t believe this at all. I have something important to tell you. If you see this, please call me back quickly.]

[I don’t have much time, so please hurry! This is about the Kurt family. I have something you would be interested in!] Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

After seeing the news, Rose did not hesitate any longer. He picked up the phone decisively to call back.

Nori was about to dissuade him, but after seeing Rose’s resolute eyes, he silently swallowed his words.

“Snow, it’s me, Richard. And you guessed it, I’m still alive…”

Rose did not go into too much detail and straightforwardly revealed himself. He understood why Snow insisted that he call back. Because Snow was clearly lying to him!

Snow also doubted that Rose was dead, but for some reason, he could only ask Rose for help. So, he risked sending this message.

The first message was to test whether Rose was still alive. He did that in case the phone had fallen into the hands of a third party and it was to dissuade the other party’s vigilance.

If Rose was dead, then the person who saw the message must be the murderer. The other party would definitely be very interested in the secret deal between Rose and Snow, an American, but he could not disguise himself through his voice, so he would reply with a message or pretend to answer as someone close to Richard.

If this was the case, Snow would throw away the SIM card decisively and flee. Therefore, to know what Snow was up to, Rose had no choice but to answer the call himself at the risk of being exposed.

In essence, he was gambling. He was gambling on the fact that Snow still had the same passion as the hero who angrily exposed the true face of the United States PRISM many years later!

As soon as Rose spoke, Snow replied nonstop and, for a while, Rose could not cut in.

“Great! Anderson, I’m so glad you’re not dead! Listen, I can only be brief about this!”

“I’m in danger now, but it’s not Qari’s locals who are chasing me, but other intelligence personnel placed here by the United States.”

“I know you will feel incredulous when you hear this, but believe me, I will explain it to you properly when I have time.”

“In short, I need your help desperately. If you can save me, I will give you all the information you want to know.”

“Time is running out, so you have to hurry. I can’t let those intelligence officers see my true face and I must keep my current identity!”
