He has amnesia
Quinn took a deep breath in, and she started scanning his face to see if he would get angry at what she was about to say. "Is there something that you may want to say?" Henry said, and he moved closer to her. He had been noticing her actions for a minute, and with the way she was acting, he just knew that she needed to say something to him. Quinn nodded in response, and she played with her fingers, so she decided to tell him once at all. "I just wanted to tell you that I um, I don't have anywhere to go to, and..." She started saying, but she stopped when she saw that he wasn't giving any reaction to what she was saying. She didn't know if he was angry or okay with what she was saying. After a few seconds of silence, Henry said, "and...You should just feel free around me. I don't bite, do I?" Immediately he said that Quinn's mind instantly became naughty, and she was about to tell him that he actually liked biting her nipples, but she thought against it. "And, I mean. I don't know if you could just help me with that." She finished, and twisted her fingers around, waiting for him to say something. Henry sat up, and he looked straight into her eyes. With their eyes fixed onto one another, Quinn's heart skipped so many beats. She couldn't stop thinking about the fact that she literally had nowhere to go, and if Henry should turn her offer down, then she would be forced to sleep on the streets. Earlier that day, she actually tried convincing the owner of her apartment that she was going to renew her weekly rent when she gets paid from her stripping job, but he didn't answer her. When she even went to the bar for her stripping job, she was silently praying for her to get paid, but because of what happened to Henry, she wasn't. "What are you thinking about?" Henry suddenly asked her, and she slowly turned her head towards him. She had been so deep in thoughts, that she didn't even realise that he hadn't said anything since. "Um, nothing." Quinn said, and she looked away from him. Looking deep into his eyes was doingProperty of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
nothing to her, even though she wanted it to. Henry was pondering over what she said, and how he could provide a solution to that. With the way he passed out the moment he saw her face, that meant that there was some kind of connection between the both of them, so asking her to stay with him in his house would definitely make him find answers to his questions, right? Yeah. Henry answered his own question, and looked at Quinn. He could see that she looked nervous, and he wanted to tease her a little bit. "I'm sorry, I can't help you." He said that, and had his eyes fixed on her to see her reaction. Quinn was really disappointed, and heartbroken because she had thought that he would be able to help her, but either way, she was happy that she met Henry. "Okay, thank you." She said, and she started standing up from the seat, when Henry placed his hand on hers. "I was just kidding. You can stay here, there are so many rooms that are meant." Henry said, and Quinn's mind just started wandering around the rooms that she saw when the bodyguard was leading her to Henry's room. She was really happy, and she jumped up in excitement. "Oh my God, are you serious?" She screamed, and when he nodded his head, she went over to him and hugged him tightly. He still smells the same. She thought, and pulled back. Henry scanned her face, and he saw that the excitement on her face had reduced a little. "What's wrong?" Henry asked, and he cupped her face. He was really worried about a lady that he didn't even know. "You seriously don't think we've met before?" She asked, and Henry removed his hands from her face. He tried remembering some things, but the moment he did that, his headache came back, and he told Quinn that he couldn't remember anything concerning that. "No, not really. We're just meeting for the first time, and I know that with time, we'll get used to each other." Henry said, and he blinked at Quinn. She blinked back.
She badly wanted to scream at him that they were already used to each other, in fact they used to be in love, but she thought against it, and kept her mouth shut. "Okay." Quinn whispered, and she looked away. She was really hurt that her husband really couldn't remember her. "I never asked for your name. What's your name?" Henry asked, and Quinn's worst fear really happened. Her husband really had amnesia, and he was lying about it. She thought that when she saw him acting like he didn't know her, he was just trying to pretend. But now, she really knows that he really had amnesia. Quinn breathed in, and she scanned his face for a while. He looked so clueless, and Quinn's heart clenched against her chest. Her husband was acting like someone else. "Quinn." She quietly said, and for a second, she could see an emotion flash through Henry's face, like he remembered something. "Are you okay?" She asked him, and outed him a glass of water from the water on the bedside table. He collected it, and downed the liquid the moment the glass touched his lips. "Yeah, I'm sorry." Henry apologised, and Quinn touched his hand, telling him not to worry about it. Quinn was happy for one thing - that she would be staying with her husband for now, and since he couldn't remember her, she made a promise to herself that she would make him fall in love with her again. She was so sure that he would love her again, even more than before.
