Luna Of The 120
Chapter 120 difficult in this world... and wort, even her life.
HELGAS THOUGHTS were consumed by what Riovanni had revealed to her the day before. The idea of her mother possessing such immense power was almost unbelievable. She feared that if this knowledge became public, her life would become exponentially more "Is there a way I could talk to the warlock that they had caught?" She mumbled to herself, shifting onto her side and gazing out at the moon. The night had already fallen, but she couldn't seem to drift off to sleep. Maybe it was because she had spent the entire day doing nothing but resting. She let out a frustrated sigh and shut her eyes tightly, attempting to force herself to sleep. However, her mind refused to quiet down and kept jumping from one thought to another. Eventually, she gave up and sat up in bed, rubbing her arms absentmindedly as the cool air surrounded her. Her eyes then flickered to the balcony door when she saw a dark figure outlined against the moonlit sky. The scene was so familiar that she immediately gets off the bed, her senses on high alert. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up as she watched the figure move silently towards the edge of the balcony. Suddenly, they noticed her watching and disappeared. leaping out of sight with an effortless grace that left her bewildered and unsettled. "What the hell!"
Complete bewilderment washed over her like a wave as she tried to process what had just happened. But before she could grasp the situation, a deafening bang shook the mansion, sending shivers down her spine. She couldn't help but jump at the sudden noise, and then came the growls and snark from Riovanni's room, just across from hers. Her brow furrowed in concern as she cautiously made her way towards the door, straining her cars to make out any distinct sounds. Suddenly, a loud thud against the door jolted her backwards, almost causing her to fall to the floor in surprise.
Shortly after, the door crashed to the ground with two Lycans locked in combat. She watched in shock as they grappled with each other, wondering who they were and why they were fighting. But when the Lycan on the bottom noticed her watching, she heard Riovanni speaking directy into her mind. "Fall back, keep your distance."
Without hesitation, she complied and walked towards the corner of the room, seeking safety from the two Lycans locked in a fierce battle. As they stood up, their massive forms towered over her, each one baring their sharp teeth and claws in an attempt to gain dominance. She watched with bated breath, her heart pounding in her chest.
Despite the dangerous situation, she couldnr help but be mesmerized by their sheer strength and agility. This was her first time witnessing Lycans in their true form, and she couldn't believe how terrifyingly majestic they appeared. Their sharp claws were moving in a flurry of rapid slashes and swings that even Helga couldn't keep up with. Both opponents were incredibly fast, but it was clear to her that there was a significant disparity in their abilities. Riovanni, being bigger and stronger than the lycan he was fighting, had the upper hand
She had no idea what was going on, until Riovanni suddenly attacked the other Lycan Blood and guts spilled onto the carpet as he ripped apart his victim's throat. The other Lycan fell to the ground, transforming back into human form.
"Ugh" Helga felt queasy, her hand instinctively going to cover her mouth at the sight of gore. Although she was no stranger to these types of scenes, her pregnancy had heightened her sensitivity, particularly to the metallic scent of blood. Riovanni observed her reaction and moved towards her, but before he could reach her, a group of warriors stormed into the room, their eyes wide with surprise at the intruder
They quickly apologized to Riovanni, who snarled at them for their lack of security.
Thry the hurriedly removed the lifeless body of the intruder, their faces pale with dread at the thought of facing pushishment from the Lycan King

staring off into space for a couple of minutes. Then, the door across from her opened, revealing Riovanni in his human form entering her room.
"Sorry. I broke the door." he sighed, massaging his temple... "Why don't you stay in my room tonight? It might be safer that way since an intruder was able to enter my room undetected by anyone else."
"F****k, the warriors were nothing but a useless bunch. Are you okay?" he asked, his face a mix of frustration and guilt. Helga gave a small nod before approaching him, her gaze lingering on the balcony where she had spotted a silhouette moments ago. She then turned back to Riovanni.
"I think there was two intruders. Just before you entered my room, I caught sight of someone on the balcony. However, they quickly fled once they realized awake." she explained, causing Riovanni's expression to turn into disbelief.
He realized that these intruders were not just ordinary ones, as they had managed to sneak past the guards without being detected. And their Lycan nature made them even more mysterious and dangerous, he thought they must have been from another pack. "Anyway, I'm fine... But how about you?" Helga studied Riovanni's face, a look of concern etched onto her features when she noticed his distant expression. His mind was racing, overwhelmed with guilt at the thought that she could have been in danger similar to what he had just experienced. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
A lump formed in his throat as he imaginef anything happening to her, after promising to protect her with every fiber of his being. He clenched his fists tightly, trying to push away the rising panic. With each slow breath, he finally managed to calm himself and focus on Helg's worried gaze. Tm fine Let's go to my room, you will stay there from now on since we don't know when these intruders again." he said, causing Helga's eyes to widen in surprise. She understood his reasoning and decision, but the idea of staying in an unmarried and unmated Lycan's room together didn't feel quite right. She tried to control it but her brow slowly may attack furroewd, trying to think of a suitable response to his statement, but before she could say anything, Riovanni spoke again.
"Don't worry. I won't do anything to you. I will sleep on the sof With a gentle smile, he reached out and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. His eyes met hers, filled with reassurance, softening any doubt she may have had about sharing a room with him. "I understand that it was not the most appropriate situation, but please bear with me. With your husband's pack attacking us in just a few days, it's safest for you to stay in my room until then."
