Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)

Chapter 3521 Thieves

Matthew's lips curved into a faint smile, his expression appearing gentle. Yet, to the two men kneeling before him, that smile was nothing short of terrifying.

"What's the situation on the sixth floor?"

Matthew's question caused both men to exchange stunned glances. They had encountered people asking questions before, but someone specifically inquiring about the sixth floor was a first.

"The sixth floor is the filthiest place on this ship, sir. It's filled with human waste, and you'll see people fighting the moment you step down there. With your power, there's really no need to go to the sixth floor." As they spoke, the two men didn't forget to flatter Matthew, hoping to earn his favor.

Matthew nodded and pressed on, "How are the powers on this ship divided?"

"The most powerful force onboard is the official crew of the Carnage Cruise. They have three key leaders: the captain, who handles policies; the first officer, who oversees combat; and the second officer, who manages general affairs. Besides them, the ship is full of mixed factions like the Viper Crew and the Marine Corps. You'll also find people from various countries blending in here." The two men revealed everything they knew, holding nothing back.noveldrama

Matthew listened silently, his eyes reflecting a thoughtful expression. The atmosphere in the room grew heavy, and tension hung in the air.

The two men kneeling on the ground grew increasingly nervous. They had no idea whether Matthew intended to spare them or kill them.

"You can leave," Matthew finally said, his words causing both men to visibly relax.

To Matthew, they were nothing more than a pair of failed thieves-not worth the effort to eliminate.

"Thank you, sir!" The two men scrambled to their feet and hurried out of the room. Matthew's presence was so oppressive that staying even a moment longer felt like having a blade pressed against their throats.

At the bar on the third floor, the bartender who had previously checked Matthew and his companions in glanced briefly at the two men as they exited the room. His eyes flickered with surprise.

They left without taking anything?!

Without saying a word, the bartender continued wiping a glass with a white tea towel, his movements slow and methodical.

Moments later, Matthew stepped out of the room. This time, he was no longer dressed in all white but a casual black outfit that blended more easily into the crowd.

The bartender's gaze lingered on Matthew for a moment. "If you need information, you can come to me. I'll give you a 20% discount."

Matthew gave a slight nod, then headed straight for the elevator.

Inside the elevator, he pressed the button for the sixth floor and stood still, ignoring the curious glances from those around him.

As the elevator descended rapidly, people exited one after another until only Matthew remained.

Ding!

The elevator chimed as the doors slid open, and a wave of putrid stench immediately assaulted Matthew's senses. He instinctively frowned, though only slightly, before holding his breath. Given his abilities, he could go an hour or two without needing to breathe.

Beside the elevator stood several soldiers with expressionless faces. Each of them held a rifle, standing guard over the area. Not far from thema pile of rotting corpses Kay on the ground-the source of the overwhelming stench.

"If you want to take the elevator back up, you'll need to pay 1,000 Dornia Emeralds per floor," one of the soldiers said coldly, his gaze lingering on Matthew's clear clothes and composed demeanor.

"Got it."
