Jamie Other Side
Jessie sat at the table, her mind reeling. She couldn’t believe that her relationship with Alexander had ended like this, and that she had been so blind to Jaime’s true intentions. She felt betrayed, and alone.
As she sat there, lost in thought, she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. It was a small piece of paper, half-hidden under a napkin. She picked it up and unfolded it.
It was a note from Alexander.
It read: “Jessie,
I’m sorry for the way things turned out. I know it’s not what you wanted, and I hate that I was a part of that. But I want you to know that I care about you, and I’m always here for you. I know that you might not believe me right now, but it’s the truth.
I hope that one day we can be friends again. Until then, take care of yourself. You deserve to be happy.
Love, Alexander.”
Jessie’s eyes filled with tears as she read the note. She knew that things would never be the same between her and Alexander, but she was grateful for his kind words. It was clear that he still cared about her, even if they couldn’t be together.
She put the note in her pocket and took a deep breath. She knew that she needed to move on, and that the best way to do that was to focus on herself. She had to find a way to be happy, and to find a life that was meaningful for her.
As she sat there, she felt tears flowing down her face. The waiter came to her table and noticed she wasn’t okay.
“Are you alright ma’am?” He asked.
Jessie shook her head and looked at him.
“I would like to order now….” She said as tears kept trying to fall down her face, but she kept it in.
“I’m so sorry, I had no idea.” the waiter said. “What can I get you?”
“I’ll have the chicken pasta,” she said, her voice barely audible. “And a glass of water, please.”
The waiter nodded and went to place her order. Jessie sat there, trying to compose herself. She took a few deep breaths and tried to focus on her surroundings. The cafe was busy, and she could hear the sound of people talking and laughing. It was a bit of a relief to be around other people, even if she didn’t know them.
As she sat there in the cafe, she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulled it out and saw that she had a text message from a number she didn’t recognize. She opened it, and was surprised to see that it was from Jaime.
“Hey Jessie, I need you to meet me later today at that restaurant we met last time. There’s something I want to discuss with you.”
Jessie closed her phone and told herself she doesn’t want to have anything to do with him anymore.
She blamed herself for ruining her perfect relationship. If she hadn’t obsessed herself with her work, she and Alex might still be together.
Now she cheated and the worse part was with Jaime who she knew that Alex despised.
She felt a sinking feeling in her stomach. She knew that she couldn’t ignore the text, even though she wanted to. She knew that she had to meet with Jaime and find out what he wanted to say. She didn’t want to, but she knew that she had to.
She got up from the table and walked out of the cafe, her mind racing. She wasn’t sure what to do, but she knew that she had to face Jaime and find out what he wanted.
She got in her car and started the engine. As she drove, she couldn’t stop thinking about what had happened. She felt ashamed and guilty, and she couldn’t believe that she had let things get so out of control. She wondered if there was any way to fix things, or if they were beyond repair.
She pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant and took a deep breath. She knew that she had to face this head-on, and she wasn’t sure if she was ready. But she had to do it, no matter how hard it was.
She got out of her car and walked into the restaurant. She spotted Jaime sitting at a table in the corner, and her heart started to race.
As she approached the table, she saw that Jaime had a serious expression on his face. He stood up as she approached.
“Hi, Jessie,” he said, his voice sounding calm.
“Thank you for coming.”
“What do you want, Jaime?” she said, her voice cold and unfriendly.
She didn’t want to show any emotion, and she didn’t want to let him see how much he had hurt her.Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
He smirked.
“I guess Alexander has told you that he has found out about our affair right?”
She looked at him with anger and disgust.
“So it was your plan all along to get me to cheat on Alexander so that you could get me and hurt him huh? You asshole!” She yelled.
Jaime, who folded his arm, smiled.
“I knew that you would react this way.” he said, his voice still calm. “I knew that you would be angry, and I understand that. But I need you to understand that I wanted to hurt Alexander so much.”
“And so I was the way to do that huh?” She said, anger in her voice. “I can’t believe I hurt Alexander.”
“Well, what can I say other than, you thought you were gonna get what you wanted but I wasn’t gonna let you go back to him and leave me. Alexander had always got what he wanted and I was always left with nothing. I guess I wanted something for myself and that was when I saw you and told myself that I was gonna split you two up.”
