My Substitute CEO Bride

Chapter 2523

Without hesitation, Thresmund quickly harnessed the crimson power within him. He reached toward the ground, drawing streams of celestial power closer to himself.

Nash and the others resisting the father and son did not understand the full scope of the events and feared the unknown dangers. Thus, they planned to stop this farce driven by revenge.

However, they now had no choice but to place their hopes on Thresmund.

As Thresmund absorbed the celestial power in the arena, the Celestial Tree seemed to sense something. It immediately extended its branches to attack Thresmund.

Thresmund raised his hand to defend himself but found himself somewhat outmatched.

At that moment, Nash stepped in to help, slicing the advancing branches with a single shot.

Nash shouted, "Kid, just focus on absorbing the energy. I'll protect you."

Thresmund nodded in response. "Thank you, friend."

He then concentrated on absorbing the celestial power once again.noveldrama

Nash called out to Huntley, "Huntley, you need to help Thresmund!"

"Got it!"

Huntley used the Seven Star Pearls to block the Celestial Tree's attacks that were directed at Thresmund.

However, a longer branch suddenly began to charge up.

A small orb of light appeared before Thresmund, expanding continuously. Thresmund panicked at that moment. He feared he would not be able to withstand this attack.

He glanced at Nash and Huntley on the ground.

The two were trying to protect themselves from the enchantment while also aiding him. Nash could hold on for a while, but Huntley likely would not last much longer.

Just then, the massive light orb rushed toward Thresmund.

Nash unleashed all of his true energy in a sword strike, shattering the orb. However, to everyone's surprise, another light orb followed right behind it. It was charging toward Thresmund.

The speed was too fast. Even Nash, who had just cut through the first orb, could not react in time.

He thought that as long as he destroyed one, everything would be fine, but now, another one was coming. He realized he probably would not have time to gather his true energy once again. What was he supposed to do?

At that moment, the orb exploded.

The sky instantly brightened several degrees, and the ground below was illuminated like the sun. The place exploded while continuously radiating its searing energy.

Nash turned and shouted, "Close your eyes!"

He immediately shut his eyes, but the explosion continued.

However, he knew that his true energy would be enough to withstand it.

Amidst the ringing in his ears and the brightness that could still be felt even with his eyes closed, the tremendous explosion engulfed everything around.

About ten minutes later, Nash opened his eyes again.

He discovered that everything around him had turned to ashes. Except for the ground beneath him, nothing remained intact for hundreds of meters.

Nash looked at the still-intact ground.

"The magical array... didn't disappear?"

When he turned his gaze back to the sky, Thresmund was nowhere to be seen.

Nash then glanced at Huntley. Huntley seemed to be fine, merely having fainted from the overexertion of true energy.

Aside from him, everyone else was not so fortunate.

At that moment, Clint suddenly appeared beside Nash, bringing Thresmund with him.
