Reborn From Oblivion

Chapter 690

Nathalie was taken aback. She couldn't wrap her head around how her dad, who still hadn't fully regained his strength, managed to pull off such an elaborate welcome for her in just one afternoon. A warm glow filled her heart.

With a spring in her step, she swung open the car door and slid in next to Lincoln. Lincoln, brimming with enthusiasm, introduced the driver: "Vivian, meet Bradley. He's been with the Stewart family forever, a loyal aide to your great-grandfather."

Nathalie greeted Bradley warmly, "Hi, Bradley."

Turning to face her, Bradley beamed, "Vivian, you're as lovely as your father described. No wonder he lights up when he talks about you."

Nathalie linked her arm through Lincoln's with a smile, "Dad, let's keep things a bit more low-key, okay?"

Lincoln chuckled heartily, "Alright, alright."

The car glided smoothly to the Stewart Estate. But as Nathalie took in the sight of the place that had once caused her such heartache, her expression wavered. It was here that Nathan had faced danger.

"Vivian," Lincoln's voice cut through her thoughts. He'd been calling her name a few times before she snapped back.

"What were you lost in thought about?" he asked.

Nathalie forced a smile, shaking her head, "Oh, nothing, Dad."

Just then, the driver approached, respectfully opening the door for Lincoln. The ramp extended, and Lincoln's wheelchair descended effortlessly. Nathalie stepped out and instinctively began to push Lincoln's wheelchair.

The driver led the way, offering a mini-tour. Pointing to the fork in the road, he explained, "The Stewart Estate features two separate, yet mirror-image townhouses. The right is for the main family, and the left for the second. This setup dates back to when the ancestral house was built. Even though your side of the family has been away, the ancestors insisted it be kept ready for your return."

Gazing at the expansive estate, Nathalie felt a mix of awe and disbelief. As a kid, she'd dreamed of a snug little home, never imagining she'd have a piece of prime real estate in the Capital all to herself.

Lincoln spoke gently, "Vivian, there are plenty of rooms here. Pick a few you love -bedroom, study, dance room, media room... whatever you like."

Thinking of her dad's health and wanting to be nearby, Nathalie said, "Dad, I'm not fussy. I'll stay right next to you."noveldrama

Lincoln was overjoyed, "Great, Bradley, let's get Vivian's room sorted."

Bradley paused before revealing, "Miss Vivian, your room's already been set up

by your father. But since you want to be next door, it might take a few days to change things around."

Nathalie assured him, "Bradley, don't go to too much trouble. Just make sure it's clean and ready to live in."

Bradley admired Nathalie's down-to-earth nature.

Later, Nathalię finally got a glimpse

of the room her father had lovingly prepared. A huge bedroom, a grand bed, countless dolls, soft pink curtains, figurines, flowers... it was both cozy

btains and enchanting. Rolling

around on the bed, Nathalie felt

enveloped by a sense of happiness.
