It suddenly clicked for me. Alexander had confiscated Isabelle's phone to prevent her from seeking help. This move had one clear purpose-to deal with Charlotte.

As Charlotte's close friend, Isabelle couldn't stand by. Naturally, she changed her mind and refused to leave.

After a while, a large group of bodyguards streamed out. They got into a van and quickly left the factory. After all, this was an abduction, which was illegal.
