Rift in the perfect picture

Chapter 113

Noting my amused expression, Nicholas felt mortified. He decided to take things. further with me. “Having such a sexy wife can be bad sometimes.”

Realizing his Intention, I quickly stopped him and said, “I can’t. Unless you want to go through a bloody battle…”

He suddenly paused. Then, he placed his hand on my lower abdomen and rubbed it gently. “Does it hurt?

Affection and tenderness filled Nicholas’s eyes as he glanced at me, who was still in his arms. This side of him was so gentle. Although I wasn’t on my period, his ministrations were very comforting.

“Whenever Claudia is on her period, she’ll be in so much pain that even medication won’t work. But she’ll always feel better once I keep her warm.”

A pang of anguish shot through me. The wind gushed past the window, making my eyes cold and painful.

“Don’t bother. I’m fine,” I said, nudging his hand away.

However, Nicholas insisted. Perching me on his lap, he warmed his hands and slipped them under the hem of my top.All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

“Does this feel better?”

“Yeah…” I mumbled. “Do you do this for Claudia too?”

His actions made my body tense, and my voice became hoarse.

Nicholas balked. As if he remembered something, he didn’t answer me and merely responded, “I’ll also do this for you in the future.”

Also? This single word alone meant a lot. Exhausted, I closed my eyes and feigned joy. “Okay!”

He didn’t notice the change in my mood. As he rubbed my abdomen, he began. snaking his hand downward.

Sitting on his lap, I could sense his body’s reaction. It was quite discomforting. Fortunately, I was prepared. I had put on a sanitary pad before I came downstairs. He had no choice but to withdraw his hand reluctantly and open the car window a bit wider.

Unsettled, I turned my head away, and neither of us spoke during the rest of the journey.

Claudia was already at home when we were back at Coral Villa. She had brought slippers and casual clothes for Nicholas, and she immediately sidled up to him the moment he extended his hand to her.

I was content nonetheless. I returned to the guest room alone, and I didn’t come out for dinner either. I was busy studying the case.

Over the next few days, Nicholas didn’t press me for sex, so I ended up having more opportunities to compete for his affection with Claudia.

I made breakfast for him and even paired his work outfits. I also insisted on picking up Claudia from school with him.

She had transferred schools and promised Nicholas that she’d work hard. Since she wasn’t as free as me, I seized every chance to sabotage her interaction with him.

Nicholas would often pull me away from Claudia and stare at me intently.

*How many more days until you’re perfectly fine?”

“Stop it. Claudia’s still around.

“After a few days, I’ll have Mom take her back to the manor to stay for a few days.

“No. I don’t want her to think that I had a row with Claudia,” I said, glancing at him. ” It’s fine if the three of us live together. I’m used to it.”

I was about to go out when Nicholas grabbed my hand and pinned me against the wall. “I can’t stand another day without you.

The tip of his nose touched mine as he kissed me with fervor.

Men were always honest with their bodies, after all. Now that he’d done the deed with me, he was tired of bland, boring women. He was only interested in having sex

with me.

I kissed him to placate him, and I spotted Claudia, who had deliberately passed by, through the gap in the door.

Claudia’s malicious intentions were hidden behind her cheerful facade. Despite our seemingly harmonious relationship, I could sense that her schemes would eventually come to light.
