A Request
Amelia made a conscious effort to hide her elation, not wanting to reveal the extent of her happiness at Alexander’s attention. But deep inside, her heart couldn’t help but flutter with joy. The mere fact that Alexander was paying attention to her brought a sweet feeling that warmed her from within.
As she gazed into Alexander’s eyes, love radiated from her own. The connection between them felt undeniable, and she couldn’t help but revel in the emotions that surged through her.
Amelia’s joy was further amplified by the knowledge that Alexander had nothing to do with Ash beyond friendship. Relief washed over her, knowing that her fears and suspicions were unfounded. Her heart went out to Ash, understanding that she was going through a difficult time and was unwell.
“Well, I want you to do me a favor,” Amelia said, shifting her position on the bed, her voice filled with anticipation.
“Okay?!” Alexander responded, his curiosity piqued. He had come to expect surprises from Amelia, as she always seemed to have something up her sleeve.
Just as she was about to reveal her request, a sudden commotion erupted from outside, interrupting their conversation. The noise drew their attention away, causing a momentary pause in their interaction.
Amelia and Alexander exchanged puzzled glances, wondering what could be causing the disturbance.
“Mr. Walker, you’re being too cheap now. They’re having a conversation,” Mrs. Gale said to Mr. Walker with obvious frustration laced in her tone, attempting to restrain Mr. Walker from heading upstairs.
“I need to go back already, but they’ve been up in the room for a long time now,” Mr. Walker grumbled, expressing his frustration with Alexander. His impatience and annoyance were evident in his complaints.
Mrs. Gale understood Mr. Walker’s eagerness to leave and his growing frustration. However, she recognized the importance of giving Amelia and Alexander their privacy to resolve their conversation. She gently urged Mr. Walker to exercise patience and allow them the time they needed.
Taking a deep breath, Mrs. Gale tried to provide some perspective. “Remember, they might be discussing something important or working through a matter that requires their undivided attention. It’s essential to respect their space” Mrs Gale tried to explain it to Mr walker who kept grumbling all through
Mr. Walker approached the door of Alex’s room, familiar with the house as he served as Alexander’s private doctor. As he reached for the doorknob, he contemplated how they could keep him waiting for so long, his frustration growing.
“How can he keep me…”
However, before he could finish his statement, the door abruptly swung open, revealing Alexander’s face. Anger radiated from him as he glared at Mr. Walker, clearly displeased with the disturbance.
His little wife was about to make a demand but this old man had to spoil everything!
Mr. Walker froze in mid-air, his hand still poised to knock on the door. The sudden appearance of Alexander’s angry expression caught him off guard.
“Mr. Walker,” Alexander said with obvious displeasure, his frustration evident in his voice.
“Alexander, I’ve been here for the past thirty minutes now. I need to go home and relax my brain,” Mr. Walker responded, standing his ground.
Unaware of The fact that Mr Walker had come to the house earlier, Alexander was taken aback but still opened the door for the doctor to enter his bedroom and check up on Amelia’s swollen toes.
With a nod of acknowledgment, Mr. Walker stepped into the room, his demeanor shifting from impatience to professionalism. He understood the urgency of attending to Amelia’s condition and focused on the task at hand.
As Mr. Walker approached Amelia, he greeted her with a calm and reassuring smile. “Hello, Amelia. I’m sorry for the delay. Let me take a look at your swollen toes and assess how we can alleviate the discomfort.”
Amelia nodded, appreciating Mr. Walker’s presence and expertise. She extended her feet, allowing the doctor to examine them closely.
Amelia stared at the man at the door and Alexander looked at her intently.
He was so sure already, He wanted Amelia in his life, she was his wife, for real.
This wasn’t about the contract, it was love.
Mr. Walker carefully examined Amelia’s toes, gently palpating and assessing the severity of the swelling. With his medical knowledge and experience, he determined the appropriate course of action to provide relief and promote healing.
He patiently explained the situation to Amelia, discussing the treatment options available and addressing any concerns she had. Throughout the process, Mr. Walker maintained a compassionate and attentive demeanor, ensuring Amelia felt heard and supported.
Amelia appreciated his efforts, he was just as professional as the last time she visited the hospital when she was locked in the basement of her father’s house.
After completing his examination and providing the necessary recommendations, Mr. Walker reassured Amelia that her condition would improve with the prescribed treatment.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
He didn’t forget to give her an ointment and some pain relief medicines.
He emphasized the importance of rest, elevation, and any additional measures to reduce the swelling.
As Mr. Walker prepared to leave, he turned to Alexander. “You’re such an annoying brat,” Mr Walker said with a scoff.
He had been Alexander’s Father’s personal doctor, but this Alexander was stressing him so much more than his father did.
Alexander didn’t pay any attention to the old man as he watched him leave.
Alexander slowly walked towards Amelia who was sitting on the bed and was arranging the medicines on the table.
“Ahem…” Alexander coughed to get Amelia’s attention.
Amelia looked at him for a while and sighed, she knew he wasn’t at fault but she wouldn’t let go so easily.
“Mr. Ron..” Amelia stated and Alexander raised a brow at her, what was she up to this time??
Why call him by his surname??!
Alexander nevertheless stood close to her to hear her out.
“You’ve been forgiven though..” Amelia continued before pausing in her statement.
When Alexander heard that he had been Forgiven, he didn’t start to wear a happy face because he wasn’t sure what was coming next.
“And?..” Alexander asked to be more safe.
“I need your help with something!” Amelia said seriously and Alexander was immediately intrigued as he paid more attention to her, waiting for her request.
“It’s about Mrs. Ash Moon..” Amelia said as she searched Alexander’s eyes to see his reaction.
