Chapter 31 The Premarital Agreement
Chapter 31 The Premarital Agreement
Emily left the hotel and wanted to take a taxi, but no taxi passed by was available, so she decided to
walk back home.
She felt even more painful at the wound when the cold wind blew through her.
Sebastian and Hope were passing Emily in a car, which was recognized by her at once when she was
about to cross the road.
Anyhow, Sebastian owed Emily an apology for what happened today, so she walked to the car, and
knocked on the window.
“Miss Morris, Mr. Clark wants to send you home,” said Hope coolly, who was sitting the driving seat,
after rolling down the window.
Sebastian was sitting on the back seat, with his eyes closed. His dress was untidy, especially the white
shirt, its neckline apparently was pulled up and was crooked.
It took time to take a taxi, and her ankle was hurt, so she opened the front door and was about to hop
in, and a voice sounded from the back seat, “Sit next to me.”
The voice sounded unhappily.
“No. 207, Z street, Western District, please,” said Emily, taking off her shoes after getting in the card at
the back seat.
Sebastian opened his eyes and saw her sore ankle. Emily also was aware of that he was looking at her
ankle, so she moved slightly away, and tried to hide it.”
They all kept silent along the way. For Hope, he darted looks at the rear-view mirror to see what was
going at the back seat but didn’t say a word. And for Emily, although she was eloquent, she would not
star the conversation, for she felt uncomfortable about the atmosphere in the car.
And she wasn’t a fool to start the conversation and asked what happened to Fiona at the end, unless Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
Sebastian talked to her first.
She silently turned her head to the window. Lights passed through as the car was speeding. She could
see his handsome face through the reflection of the window.
Given that Emily’s ankle was hurt, Hope drove her to the ground floor near the elevator of her flat.
“Thanks for sending me home, Mr. Clark.”
After finishing her words, Emily was about to open the car door, and Sebastian opened his eyes, and
said, in a soft voice, “Hope.”
Hope quickly got out of the car, and shut the back door again, “Miss Morris, Mr. Clark needs to talk to
you.”
Emily also wanted to see what Sebastian would say about what had happened today, so she sat still
again.
After thinking for a few seconds, Emily smiled and said, “Mr. Clark, we haven’t met for a long time after
we had sex that day, are you missing…”
Sebastian turned his body facing her, staring at her, looking slightly testily, which made her shut her
mouth.
All Sebastian was thinking was the pleading voice of Fiona. As her brother, he just couldn’t bear the
way she acted and the things she was trying to do to get herself hurt. He itched to kill both Oskar and
Emily. But now one of them, Emily, was smiling at him. What a shame!
“Give her the thing.”
Hope took out a paper, handed to Emily, and said, “Miss Morris, please have a look, and if you are fine
with it, just sign it.”
Premarital Agreement?
“So we fast-forward to marriage now?” said Emily surprisingly, his eyes filled with confusion after
seeing the title of the paper.
“Are you surprised or shocked?”
“Sign it, and stay away from Oskar.”
Sebastian said in a cold voice without looking at her, while organizing his sleeves and collar.
“Well…” said Emily, in a drawly voice. After a long pause, she said, “Do you think I am using your sister
to marry you?”
He finally looked up at her, but sharply, which made her frightened.
“Don’t you think so?” said Sebastian, his lips moved softly, his face looking charming.
As expected, he reckoned she was using Fiona and Oskar to marry into the Clark family, which she
had emphasized for times.
It was dark inside the car, so she couldn’t see clearly his face and didn’t know what exactly he was
thinking at the moment.
Emily went through the agreement. Except the last term that said that the wife could not share any
properties of the husband in case of a divorce, other terms were typical pre-marriage agreements. This
made her unpleasant.
She waited this moment for a long time. It took all she had to this point.
All hopes were right before her, and they were touchable now. Eventually, she could take revenge for
his father, and clarify her own wrongness. At this moment, she could feel a strong light shining through
the way that she was about to head towards.
She couldn’t deny that she was greedy.
“Pen.”
Hope handed a pen to her from his bag. Emily took it, paused, and started signing on the paper.
She gave the signed paper to Hope, and Hope handed it to Sebastian after checking. It looked like they
were doing a transaction, but not starting a marriage.
In fact, this marriage had no difference with a transaction.
Sebastian lit up a cigarette, took the pen from Hope, and signed his name on the agreement, with the
cigarette in the mouth, which looked pretty cool.
“I don’t want any wedding ceremony, and if you want to issue this event through media, just do it
yourself,” said Sebastian, while Emily was about to say something.
She didn’t care whether there would be a wedding or not, all she wanted was just a title “Mrs. Clark”.
“But from this moment, you promise me that you won’t see Oskar again.”
Emily sneered in her mind. As Fiona told her, he was a really good brother, for he could sacrifice his
own marriage for the happiness of his sister. But he was indifferent to her at that time no matter what
she forced him to do.
“If you give me what I want, you have my word, Mr. Clark,” said she.
“Emily Morris, listen, I don’t warn you, I just inform you,” said Sebastian, in a low and deep voice, his
eyes looking sharp. He sneered, “If... You dare to keep meeting him, I will make you into a situation
much worse than you are now.”
The strong smell of smoke made her feel uncomfortable, so she tried to move her body backwards a
little bit, but all of a sudden he put her into his arms immediately.
Sebastian kissed her forcefully, and she retreated back, leaning against the car door.
“Sebastian...” roared she in a low voice, and her eyes was red, filling with outrage.
