The Alpha King's Hybrid Mate

Chapter 33

"Let's go home, you shouldn't stress yourself too much because of your health." Sara pointed out to Killian.

"C'mon, I am fine, perfectly fine," Killian replied.

"I know, but the doctor advised you not to stay long outside, so let's go." She muttered and Killian sighed.

His face lit open as something crossed his mind.

"Yeah...you are right. Let's head home, so we can make some..." he stopped and focused his gaze on her eyes. He then lowered his head to her ear and whispered a word into it;

"... babies," He finalized, which caused Sara to smile widely.

"C'mon, with your health? Stop joking." She jokingly replied to him.

"What's with my health? I am perfectly fine." Killian said to her. They both held each other's hands and chatted happily while they headed home.

"Greetings, my Alpha." Violet greeted as they both approached her.

"I want to have a private time with my Luna, please give us some space," Killian ordered. Violet gave Sara a mischievous look as she understood what Killian meant. "Are you serious about it? Besides, you are embarrassing me." She complained.

Killian looked at Violet and she instantly walked away.

"Yeah, the floor is ours," Killian said as he swiftly lifted Sara in his arms and carried her inside.

He gently placed her on the bed, arranged her hair, and planted a kiss on her forehead. "You are a sweet angel." Killian complimented her.

"Are you sure?" Sara teased him, while Killian furrowed his brows.

"Of course. You are the only angel I have ever met in my life." Killian said. He then proceeded to place his lips on hers, interlocking them as stuck his tongue into hers.

He gently pulled off her clothes, rubbed every part of her body, and took off his clothes also, and they both made out.

"Are you tired? You've only gone twice." Sara teased as Killian lay flat on the bed.

"Were you not the one urging me to be careful because of my health? I knew that you were double-faced." Killian said as she gave her a slight romantic knock on her nose. "Yeah...I was considering your health. But you are too good on bed that two rounds seem not to be enough. You should blame yourself for arousing me." Sara uttered with a wimp while Killian sighed.

"Seems like you might have to go to the forbidden forest once again to get the king's herb." He muttered with a shrug, while Sara's expression changed into a frown.noveldrama

Patrick sat in his office with his fingers crossed. He seemed so baffled about something

as he stared vaguely into the atmosphere as if looking for an answer.

He had just assumed the position of the chief guard, following the death of the previous guard.

The assassination of the previous chief guard proved to be a hard nut to crack.

The assassin was an experienced one, more like a professional in the field. Nothing to trace her with.

"Who could she be?" He asked himself, his eyes wrinkled further in confusion.

As he immersed himself deeper in his thoughts, a knock landed on his door and a guard walked in with a bright smile, which made Patrick's heart race in excitement.

"Sir, we found something." The guard said and handed over a piece of paper to Patrick. "A paper?" Patrick asked in bewilderment.

"It contains some powder. It's the powder used to knock out the guards in the cell. She had mistakenly dropped it." The guard said, and Patrick stood up immediately.

He placed his hand on the paper, and a whitish stuff stained his hand. He sniffed at the powder and he felt dizzy immediately that he had to sit down immediately.

"So, how do we trace from whom it has dropped?" The guard asked while Patrick inspected the paper further.

His eyes opened wide in shock when he noticed something on the other side of the paper.

"What? It's not possible." He yelled out.

"Did you figure out something?" The guard asked him, while Patrick stood up and hurried to his drawer. He pulled it open and took out another piece of paper which he compared to each other.

The two papers have the same signatures behind them, and it was exclusive to a particular family.

Patrick racked his brain further as he tried to remember where he had gotten the paper from.

"The papers are the same, don't you remember where you got this other paper from?" The guard asked while Patrick shook his head.

"I am trying to, but I can't just remember." He replied as he racked his brain further.

"I am feeling tired, I passed by the apothecary to get some..."

"What did you say just now?" Patrick cut the guard in as his brain clicked to one of his words.

"What?"

"Apothecary...I remember now, Savannah!"
