The Art Of Revenge (Thalia Nash and Brandon)

Chapter 100

Chapter 100

Thalia’s Pov

Nestor texted, they were on their way to the hospital and Josh was with them. He didn’t go into great

detail about how they persuaded Josh to agree to meet up with me. I was nervous because I hadn’t

seen him since our encounter at the fundraiser; I felt confident then because I was tearing him down,

but the scenario now was different. I was going to tell him everything I’d done to him, then beg him to

save my baby.

But I began self-doubting again, I was so sure some hours ago that I wanted to meet up with him and

bury the hatchet. But hearing that he was on his way brought in questions and I began to wonder if I

was making the right decision. Perhaps Brandon was correct, and we were supposed to kidnap and

steal the liver. However, I owed my daughter a life free of vengeance, a fresh start, not a life of

concealing her from Josh’s wrath.

In our initial plan, Brandon had mentioned framing Josh and his father for crimes they had not

committed, in order to keep them out of my daughter’s life. Months ago I had no problem with that but

with time my stomach couldn’t take it; I couldn’t take it despite the fact that he deserved it.

When I checked my watch, thirty minutes had elapsed. A message popped up, it was Brandon and

they were in the parking lot.

My heart was racing for no obvious reason, so I got out of bed and gave myself a pep talk again. The

worst-case scenario was that he became upset and punished me by refusing to donate the liver. Or he

was as tired and ready for a fresh start like I was.

As the door opened, Brandon walked in and hugged me, checking to see if I’d changed my mind.

I double-checked to make sure I hadn’t

“I’m a little frightened; I hope you didn’t threaten him,” I asked, but posed a bit; he responded, but I

wasn’t paying attention. I let go of him and stared at him because he was so cold. The machine was

not doing what it was supposed to be doing. Something was wrong, but I didn’t want to bring it upright; I

planned to do so later.

“Just remind him of what he did to you, ooh and I think I hinted on the possibility of us being involved in

his testicle accident.”

“Brandon why?” I asked.

“He wouldn’t have come if I hadn’t, in fact, I went to grout but he wanted to split my head in half so I

changed my plans and will grout after he donates or when I kidnap him,” he joked. I gave out a fake

smile.

Nestor entered the room and signaled to us, “you can let him in,” I stated and ordered the two of them

to leave.

“No Thalia, he almost attacked Brandon,” Nestor interjected.

“Yes there is no way I’m leaving you alone in the room at least if you do not trust me to keep my mouth

shut then allow Nestor to be in here,” Brandon seconded.

“Guys I understand your worry but I will be fine as long as I do not provoke him.”

Brandon chuckled, “Thalia we cut off his balls, he will definitely snap even if he was a prophet, he

would have still snapped.” he tried reasoning with me but I told them to leave.

started with the two of us and it was going to end with us. Yes, there was a chance he would get

physical, but it was a risk I was ready to take. Brandon reached into his pocket and pulled out a

revolver, saying, “If he puts his hands on you, you can blast his brains out, we’ll blame it on postpartum

depression,” he stated as he slid the gun under my pillow.

“Brandon, are you psychologically ill or something?” Nestor and I stared at each other, he finally asked

the question I’d been dreading for months. I was expecting yelling, however, Brandon simply turned

and walked away; I thought it was time we got him a psychiatric evaluation; the man’s thinking was

quite dark. They both walked out of the room with Nestor wishing me luck. I took a deep breath in and

moved closer to the pillow where Brandon had placed the gun.

I had my gaze set on the door, and a cold wave poured over me as it opened. He had a puzzled

expression on his face as he walked in. He had gained some more weight, his hair was scruffy and he

looked terrible.

I could only assume Brandon had scared him or something. I swallowed my saliva and thanked him for

coming to see me. He remained silent and fixed his gaze on me. “Please have a seat,” I advised.

“Cut the nonsense, were you the one who caused the accident in Canada?” He inquired. He didn’t want

to waste time with phony pleasantries, he wanted to get right to the subject.

With a straight face, I said, “Yes, I caused the accident in Canada.” I heard him take a deep breath and

move back a little. “So… you told the doctors to remove my testicles?”

“It wasn’t like that, Josh ”

“How the f*ck was it supposed to be!” He yelled at me and moved closer to me. He was standing

inches away from me and I could hear him breathing hard.

“Do not shout at me, remember that I’m not the Thalia that you used to s*it on! Remember that!” I

yelled at him.

“What are you going to do if I yell? Call that sick l*natic you sold your soul to in here to have me

beaten! Just answer the dumb question!”

“I’m better than you who sold your soul to your father that turned around and f*cked your wife!” I

retorted. “How does it feel to have a baby sibling!” I yelled. I was beginning to lose my cool but it was

his fault, Brandon was not a sick L*natic.

He clenched his hands into a fist like he wanted to hit me but I maintained my stance.

“Yes I had the Doctors cut off your balls, just like you made the doctors make me believe that I was

barren,” I finally got the words out of my chest, it felt like I had removed the huge stone off of me. He

dashed for me and tried to grab me but froze midway.

“I did not want you to have a child with Jessica, the inheritance child you called it. Well, there was a

clause in the company that you forgot to change. And it stated the rightful owner of the shares would

pass the shares to his or her first child with his first spouse,” I quoted.

He stared at me confused, his lips moved like he wanted to say something however he opted out and

chose to listen. We were practically breathing each other’s air and he was only seconds away from

strangling me but for an unknown reason, it was like he was waiting for me to explain how I destroyed

his life.

“You and your father were not that smart, even your dumb lawyers could not spot it but it only took the

sick l*natic one day and he spotted it,” I said with a smile.

“What are you talking about?” he finally found the words.

“I’m your first wife and our first child was entitled to those shares, not the ugly child you were supposed

to have with the s*ank. So whether we divorced or not our child was the real heir, first spouse, I was

your first spouse,” I said.

“First spouse Josh, I am your first spouse,” I kept saying. “My father put that clause in to prevent

anyone from stealing the company.

“You are still dull ain’t you? I sold those shares, and the little s*it I made I paid off my debt, the

s*upidcompany is gone, and neither you nor my useless father will ever put your hands on it unless you

want to pick the vomit I left of it!” He yelled at my face.

I laughed out and asked him to shut up. I was not done yet, the worst was yet to come. I slightly moved

near the pillow because what I was going to say to him was going to make him snap.

“Nine months ago, that was our plan, me getting pregnant for you and later claiming the company. So

we had to make sure we cause an accident that was going to leave the doctor’s with no option but to

cut your balls out,”

I explained and watched his face wrinkle with pain, he grabbed my hair from behind with all his might,

almost causing me to scream. I reached for the gun but decided not to. I was in a seated position so he

was towering over me. I lifted my head and locked my gaze on him, grabbing him by his shirt. “I’m not

finished yet,” I became enraged and yelled at him.

“Thalia what did you do with that L*natic, what did you do with him!”

“Before they castrated you, we harvested your sperm, we received the sperm, and I was inseminated.

The strategy was straightforward,” I laughed out loud.

I could feel his grip on my hair loosening and his eyes watering as he let go of me and gripped the bed

for balance. His hands were grabbing the bed sheets, practically yanking them away under me. “Wait…

wait… wait… wait… wait… wait… wait… wait… wait… wait,” he stuttered

“That pregnancy I was carrying was yours, Josh, I was willing to cross any dumb line so I got pregnant

by your sperm and made sure you would never father any child Josh, an eye for an eye,” I replied.

He was shaking and I could tell his legs could no longer support his weight. He slowly took a seat on

the bed next to me and looked into my eyes. “I never removed your womb you fool” he said in a low

tone.

He was too calm, that was not the reaction I was expecting. For a minute I felt scared, I had two

options, grab my gun or call for Brandon and Nestor but I stayed cool, it was too early to panic.

“You ruined me, Josh, you broke me and left me to rot! I was only returning the dumb favor!”

“Did I ever do anything illegal? You were the s*upid dumb one that signed off everything to me! I never

held a knife on your dumb throat to sign those papers did I?” He asked but I only looked away. It was

not his right to take advantage on me even though I was too s*upid.

“What kind of animal are you, why could you castrate me, why was I the only one that got castrated?”

He cried out “What punishment did my father get or Jessica? Why not just steal the company, why

castration?”

He clutched my hands as if pleading with me. He was no longer aggressive, and he sounded shattered,

which was exactly what I wanted, and I would have gone around putting salt in his wounds if I hadn’t

needed him whole.

“I’m going to make you and that l*natic pay for what you did, but where is the baby?” Finally, he

inquired. At the very least, I was getting him to where I needed him to be.

“What have you done with my baby?”

“The baby is why I called you,” I whispered, placing my hands on his, but he hastily withdrew his hands

away from me. He stood up and took a step back, wiping away his tears and saying, “What did you do

with the baby?”

“I didn’t do anything, and I would never harm my child,” I said. “She was born with congenital liver

failure and requires a liver transplant. They are saying they can’t get it from me but the biological

father,” I stated.

He merely glanced at me and didn’t say anything. I wiped my tears away and averted my gaze. “I

believe the baby is being punished for my sins, for everything I’ve done to you,” I said, but he only

stared at me, dumbfounded.

“I’m tired of this pointless vengeance and want us to call it a truce, I’m asking you to forgive me” I

added.

He cleared his throat hard and asked “Which floor is my baby… and is it a girl or a boy? ”

“It’s a girl, she is so beautiful, she is in ICU, and the doctors are saying she has some rare markers,

making it difficult for us to find a donor.”

There was total silence and I spoke again

“If you want to sue me, go ahead, but please save my baby,” I pleaded. “We can put our disagreements

aside for the baby,” he suggested.

He added in a low voice, “I’ll set that difference aside once you remove your womb and get locked up

for the s8it you did to me.” He then turned and walked out of the room, ignoring my plea. “Josh, Josh,

hold on a second,” I screamed and attempted to get out of bed, but I pushed against the pillow and the

gun slid off. He came to a halt, looked at the weapon, and then looked up, disappointed, before exiting

the room.
