The Bad Boy Next Room (Charlie and Taylor)

Chapter 66

For the first time since helplessly falling for Taylor's charms, Charlie listened to her Guardian Angel.

No, she did not measure his dick.

The last thing she wanted was to get caught comparing his length against a ruler. That scene would have been truly disastrous.

Instead, Charlie made her presence known. She rested against Taylor's chest, her arms folded over him as she supported her chin on her hands.

Taylor immediately hummed awake, all while instinctively placing his arm around her. With a faint smile, his eyes fluttered open. "Am I in heaven? Or did an angel fall from the sky and sleep with me?"

A chuckle left Charlie's lips. She said, "Technically, you came into my bed."

"I'm hungry," Charlie said, pouting.

Taylor lightly pinched her cheek, saying, "You are always hungry."

"It's eight in the morning," Charlie said.

"What? Fuck." He got up while carefully making sure Charlie sat up with him. "I promised Tristan we'd do a morning workout today. Let's just have a quick breakfast and head to the manor."

Charlie made a face, worried about Taylor's mother. When Taylor noticed her hesitation, he said, "Don't worry. Mom and I talked about you. She felt better after speaking to your dean."

"Are you sure?" Charlie asked, still hesitant.

Taylor got off the bed and did something most guys probably do when they wake up: he adjusted his member, putting it in place before turning to Charlie. "Yeah, it's -oh-" He chuckled, referring to his sex. "Sorry. Old habits. It's the blood rushing down every morning. I grow too big. It's often out of place when I wake up."

Charlie, "???"

"But, hey," Taylor said, gesturing to Charlie. "Regular morning erections mean a healthy nervous system, good blood circulation, and balanced hormone levels. I'm not being inappropriate. I'm just super healthy."

Guardian Angel and Inner Devil: 'Oh.'

Charlie rolled her eyes, mumbling, "Too much information."

Walking out the door, Taylor asked, "Don't you have brothers?"

"I don't look at their dicks, Taylor," Charlie snapped.

"Makes sense," Taylor said, smirking. "You should only look at mine." Charlie: "..."

"Dad? So about that guy I was telling you about, you know, the one who plays basketball-”

"Oh, yeah. You know, Sweetheart, it's perfect timing. We badly need more coaches this year. Do you think your friend can come to Dowel? We will sponsor everything," Adrian asked on the other line.

Because they were rushing to the manor, Charlie had called her father from the

car. She purposely did not turn on the camera because she wasn't ready to show Taylor.

"Go to Dowel?" Charlie echoed.

"Yes-oh, your mom is here. It's Charlie, Hun," Adrian said.

Before Charlie knew it, her mother took over the call. "Sweetie, can you call Daddy a little later? Mommy needs your father urgently."

"Ah," Charlie said, frowning. "Wait-um—"

The call ended, and when Charlie called again, it went to voicemail. She instead texted Freya, and her sister answered: [Mom and Dad are probably making us another brother or sister.]

Charlie: "..."noveldrama

Seriously? Her parents were still at it, even at their age.

'Another time,' Charlie silently concluded. At least she had tried to tell her father about Taylor.

An hour later, they arrived at the manor. Taylor had invited Charlie to join them for an exercise, so she was ready in her workout clothes.

By the pool area, there was enough space for their late-morning session. They performed basic exercises and stretches similar to yoga. They also did a few agility ladder drills and core exercises.

On some sets, Charlie purposely recorded how Taylor instructed Tristan especially during the agility ladder drills. Towards the end, Taylor had to go to the restroom, so Charlie led the remaining cool-down routine.

As Charlie relaxed into the cobra pose, her back arched effortlessly. Tristan followed and remarked, "Charlie, you make this look easy."

"My dad always works out. My mom introduced me to yoga because it's much easier than lifting heavy weights. You're doing great, Tristan," Charlie said, smiling. "Relax your shoulders."

Shifting to an easy pose, Tristan

added, "I'm still not as strong as

Taylor, but at least I'm not as wobbly as I used to be. If Taylor joins professional basketball, no one will push me to work out anymore."

Charlie paused, considering it. She had already thought about taking her master's

in Halliport. She offered, "If Taylor gets busy, we can have video calls. We can still

do yoga together online."
