The ceo’s secretary

Chapter 36

One month later.

Today was Wednesday, and I’d been all alone in the house for the past three days because Jason was away on a business trip. To pass the time, I hung out with Cynthia in the afternoon since she was on leave. We decided to start a new movie since we had finished watching Jessica.

Halfway through the first episode, Cynthia’s phone rang.

“Hi,” Cynthia said seductively, her voice taking on a playful tone.

“You serious?” she asked, curling up her legs and smiling at her polished nails. “Ok. Alright then.”

She hung up the phone and turned to me with a smile as if she’d just won a jackpot.

“Who was that?” I asked, curiosity piqued.

“Secreeeeet,” she replied, still smiling.

“Why would you keep secrets from me?” I teased, raising an eyebrow.

“I was just kidding. That was John.”

“John? Jason’s John?” I repeated, surprised.

“Yeah, Jason’s John,” she said, setting her phone down on the couch with a seductive smile. “He wants me to meet him tonight.”

“And?” I prompted, eager to hear more.

“We’ve been chatting for a while now,” she admitted, a hint of excitement in her voice.

“And?”

“We met last week Saturday,” Cynthia confessed.

“And?”

“We didn’t do anything,” she added, a bit defensively.

“And?”

“Why are you asking me so many questions? It’s not like you tell me everything you and Jason do,” she shot back.

“That’s because you don’t ask. I’m asking, and I need answers,” I retorted.

“Whatever,” she said, rolling her eyes as she got up from her seat. “What do you care for?” she asked as she headed to the freezer.

“A bowl of ice cream, a pack of Doritos, two bottles of Coke, one bowl of macaroni, and some fries,” I rattled off with a grin.

“You’re not in a restaurant,” she said, giving me a look.

“You asked me what I care for.”

“That was a normal question, and I was expecting a normal answer.”

“Do I look normal to you?”

“Oh! Pardon, it slipped my mind that you’re two,” she teased, handing me a pack of Doritos and a Coke.

I took the snacks with a smile, feeling grateful for her company and the lighthearted banter.

“Do you plan on doing it with him tonight?” I asked quietly, hoping she’d give me an answer this time.

“I might, it depends,” she replied, her tone thoughtful.

“Woah! I think I’m getting jealous,” I joked, trying to lighten the mood.

“I’m gonna tell that to Mr. Stokes,” she teased back.

“As if you can,” I smiled and playfully threw some Doritos at her.

“Try me,” she grinned, then added, “And you better start cleaning those up,” nodding at the scattered Doritos.

I laughed and helped her pick out a dinner gown, enjoying our time together. Just as we finished, I left a few minutes before John’s arrival, wishing her luck with a smile.

After showering and putting on my nightgown, I sat on the bed, picked up my phone, and texted Jason.

“You still awake?”

“Yup,” he texted back instantly.

“What are you doing now?” I texted.

“I’m lying down on my hotel bed thinking of you. And you?”

“I wish you were back home today as planned.”Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

“Are you missing me that badly?”

“More.”

He FaceTimed me instantly, and we chatted for a good hour before we said good night.

I found it very hard to sleep since Jason wasn’t around. After tossing and turning for about thirty minutes, I gave up. Slowly, I pulled up my nightgown, inserted two of my fingers, and started moving them in and out of my pussy, imagining they were Jason’s fingers until I cummed.

———————————————————————————————————————–,

I was in a dream, I was asleep, and Jason was back, gently tapping me to wake up. He was smiling at me, and I started smiling too, even though my eyes were still closed. He continued tapping me until I was forced to open my eyes, and when I did, I didn’t see Jason but someone else.

“What are you doing here?” I asked, shockingly but quietly.

“I’m sorry,” she said, though her expression didn’t match her

**JASON STOKES’ POV:**

I finally gave up on sleeping and reluctantly picked up my phone, which had been ringing for a while.

“Babe,” I mumbled into the receiver sleepily, assuming it was Lexi.

“Jason,” Mom’s urgent voice came through.

“Mom.”

“Where are you right now?” she asked quickly.

“Not at home,” I replied, rubbing my eyes.

“Have you seen the morning news?” she asked, her tone grave.

“I’m just waking up, what’s going on?” I said, suddenly alert.

“Sofia,” she said simply.

My eyes snapped open wide.

“What happened to her?” I asked, already getting out of bed, heart racing.

“She broke out of prison last night.”

“What!?” I shouted, adrenaline coursing through me.

I almost tripped over myself as I hurried to the television.

“What do you think she’s doing?” I asked, my mind racing as I reached for the remote.

“No one knows,” Mom replied solemnly.

“Okay, I’ll talk to you later,” I said quickly, hanging up the phone. I sank onto the couch, staring at the headline on the screen, shaking my head as Sofia’s picture flashed before me.

One hour later

After dressing up and getting ready to leave for the airport, I picked up my phone to inform Lexi of my movement but got no reply. Panic began to set in by the fifth attempt, especially with the latest news about Sofia. Trying to stay calm and hoping I was wrong, I called Tanner.

“Sir,” Tanner answered promptly.

“Are you at home?” I asked urgently.

“Yes, sir,” he replied.

“What about Lexi?”

“Ma’am is in the house,” he confirmed.

“Have you seen her today?” I pressed.

“No, sir,” Tanner responded quickly.

“Go and check on her right now, and get back to me in two seconds,” I instructed firmly.

“Okay, sir,” Tanner acknowledged before hanging up.

I waited anxiously, each second feeling like an eternity. Five minutes later, Tanner called back.

“What about her?” I asked immediately.

“I’ve searched everywhere, but ma’am is nowhere to be found,” Tanner reported, his voice tense.

My heart sank, and I struggled to think clearly.

“Have you checked the bedroom?” I asked desperately.

“Yes, sir.”

“Restrooms?”

“Yes, sir.”

“What about the guest rooms?”

“Yes, sir.”

“And my office?”

“I’ve checked everywhere, sir,” Tanner affirmed.

I hung up the phone, grabbed my suitcase, and sprinted out of the room. I didn’t stop running until I reached the hotel entrance.

“Sofiaaaa!” I growled, clenching my fists tightly, imagining her neck in my grip. The thought of any harm coming to Lexi fueled a rage I could barely contain.
