The two of them stood there casually, like old friends meeting by chance. There wasn't even a hint of awkwardness between them.

Especially Jude-one hand stuffed in his pocket, glancing down at the phone in Davina's hand.

There was a trace of indulgence in his eyes, as if he didn't mind her antics at all.

A staff member nearby didn't react much, just said, "The director's busy."

Seeing that Ryan was useless, Stella quickly grabbed her phone and made a call, her voice soft and teary

"Blair!":

After a moment, she handed the phone to the staff, trying hard to hide the smug look on her face-but the condescension in her tone was impossible to miss.

My brother wants to speak to you directly

This particular staff member had just been in touch with upper management, so she instinctively glanced over at Jude.

Under his steady gaze, she tapped the speakerphone button..

The voice that came through was deep, with an unmistakable edge of threat. This

is Blair Summer. If you don't follow through with our deal, don't blame us for pulling our investment.

"You should know exactly why the Summer Group and the Holt Group are backing this show. If my sister doesn't get the role she wants, we're pulling out immediately. And trust me, I've got plenty of ways to make sure this production gets shut down."

The raw threat echoed clearly in the room, making everyone's expression shift uncomfortably.

Honestly, having investors push for someone to join the cast wasn't that unusual. As long as it wasn't a lead role, most people would just turn a blind eye. It was part of the game.

Usually people would just envy someone like Stella for being lucky.

But this? This crossed the line.

The nature of the event had changed.

You could bring money into a project-but using it to threaten and intimidate the crew? That was something else entirely.

And yet, Stella just smiled smugly.

She had grown up being coddled and protected. Backed by the family wealth and status, she wore their love like a crown and never once thought any of this was wrong-

To her, being treated like a princess was simply how the world worked. If she wanted something, she got it.

There was always someone willing to fight her battles and clean up her messes,

All she had to do was act a little pathetic and turn on the waterworks.

So, of course, she thought the director would cave.

Just then, a staffer rushed over in a panic. “Someone's livestreaming this! Viewers are already calling in to complain!"

The moment that was said, a wave of shock swept across the room.

Stella's face turned pale. "What livestream?"

Everyone's gaze shifted toward the spot where Davina and Jude were standing.

Davina gave a playful wave, similing sweetly. "Hi”

And right there, on screen, was Stella's stunned, terrified face,

. front and center.

"You brat" she shouted, glaring at Davina. If she weren't worried about how she'd look, she probably would've lunged at her to snatch the phone away.

With a lazy smile, Jude stepped forward, his words aimed directly at the voice on the other end of the call. "Mr. Summer, sure are bold'

At the same time, his hand reached out and covered Davina's phone camera..

She had already recorded everything she needed, so she simply ended the stream and turned off the phone.

"Who are you?" Blair's voice, now wary, came through the speaker.

"The name's Wilson, Jude saidcalmly Jude Wilson." He took a couple of unhurried steps forward, each word delivered with intent. Then he shot a glance at the staller.

The staff, understanding instantly, hung up the call and handed the phone back to Stella.

Meanwhile, back in the office, Blair froze the moment he heard that name. His expression turned grims.

Jude l'hon.

Ryan, standing stiffly nearby, glanced fearfully at Jude. He immediately understood-Stella wasn't getting this role anymore.

He shot a cold look at the staffer, then turned to the still-stunned Stella. "We're leaving."

Stella looked like she wanted to pierce Davina with her gaze. Furious and unwilling, she let Ryan drag her away.

As they walked out, Ryan pulled out his phone, speaking in a hushed tone. "That livestream earlier... yeah. Wipe it from the internet. Everywhere."
