Chapter 2734
The beggar continued, "The way I see it, those ghosts are basically people with superpowers. They are driven by their own desires to hurt the living, while some have trouble controlling their powers after suddenly awakening to it."
Her unexpected explanation actually enlightened Frank.
Ghosts and hauntings notwithstanding, they were just people who could do what normal people could not-but they were fundamentally no different!
Without hesitation, Frank rushed forward when a tall, well-rounded bald man appeared before he reached the graves.
"Does no one ever listen?" He laughed coldly.
Frank felt a powerful burst of energy from his words he was clearly trying to make them obey, but they were not listening!
"In that case, I'd just have to be tough on you!"noveldrama
At those words, a bead appeared on Baldie's palm, and it shot up to the sky!
At the same time, an unusual energy converged and ultimately morphed into a monster.
It was basically a pile of rotting flesh crawling with maggots. There was one empty eye socket on its head, but with the eyeball still attached, dangling with its nerves still attached.
Its tongue also dangled from its nonexistent neck, and its stomach had a huge hole with pairs of tiny eyes looking everywhere.
It really was a sight of horror, except it was out in broad daylight.
That was when the bead flashed so brightly that the monster could not open its eyes, its flesh vaporizing and enraging him.
In a split second, the maggots crawling all over its body turned into house flies and punched through the golden light. Then, swarming into one clump, they combined into a single giant house fly that streaked straight at Baldie.
Baldie abruptly raised his hand and smacked it into pieces, and along with it, chunks of the monster began falling off.
Even as he looked on, Frank would be puking his guts out if he did not have a stomach of steel.
That was when the monster's stomach burst open and out leapt a cat.
Its fur was caked with blood, and with a resounding cry, dark clouds suddenly appeared, blocking out the sun and leaving everything in darkness!
Fortunately, Frank had a good eye to see the cat morphing into a powerful tiger, which lunged toward Baldie.
He was certainly delighted to hear
the earth quaking as the tiger moved thank goodness he followed the beggar when he did, or he would have missed out on a great show!
With the insurmountable gap between the average martial artist against the tiger,
it was safe to say that it could handle twenty Ezel Larks.
Unfortunately for it, it was not facing twenty Ezel Larks, but one Baldie.
Clearly prepared for this, Baldie punched the tiger, destroying it right then.
Seeing that things were going from bad to worse, the monster quickly turned to
run.
However, Baldie chanted an incantation, his words manifesting into golden letters out of his mouth that Swiftly enveloped the monster in an airtight golden ball.
Holding the monster inside, the golden ball kept shrinking into the size of a pearl.
As darkness faded and light returned, Baldie smirked at the golden ball. "That's your destiny-to be a tool for my use. You're never getting away now."
The beggar, who had been silent throughout, suddenly poked Frank, clearly gesturing for him to get to work.
For Frank's part, he had nothing else to do anyway and could use the fun.
"Who?!"
Baldie suddenly turned, shocked as he found Frank streaking toward him. "W-What is that body of yours? No, the energy welling up within is far more than what I could imagine! Could you be the master of the spiritron vein?!"
Frank came to an abrupt stop, overjoyed as his eyes lit up.
What do you think?
