The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

"Have you lost your mind?"

"Yes I have!" Alexandra screamed. She was livid.

"Shut your mouth"

"Why don't you try shutting it for me?"

The guard hastily attempts to grab her when Adam walked in. "what's going on here?"

The guard stiffened and Alexandra glared at him. She was already intending to drive the pins in her hand into his neck if he attacked her.

"You must be lucky" She said and the guard arched up his brow.

"What's going on here?" Adam asked again as if they didn't hear him the first time.

"The chick was making noise and I came to check what happened and she attacked me"

"You bastard" Alexandra seethes and looked at Adam. "He was gonna betray you. He already told me that he knows the poison you had given to Nathaniel"

"That's not true" the guards eyes widened

"That's the truth Adam. When I didn't accept he tried to attack me"noveldrama

"Is that true?" Adam arched up his brow at her

"Of course not Alpha. I will never betray you"

"Who will you believe Adam? I'm the one who Intend to make you Alpha. I have no plans of running away but he wanted me to run. I wonder what he was planning"

"That's not true Alpha"

Adam inhaled deeply and grabbed the guard by the neck. "Go" He whispered loosening the grip and the guard leaves aware that he wasn't going to punish him.

"Are you going to let him go just like that?"

"Yes because he's innocent"

"Oh"

"I wonder what you are planning"

"I'm curious to find out as well" She tilted her head

"You're really pissing me off"

Alexandra draws closer to him. "Then take me out"

"What?"

"Another deal" She said hastily "Let's strike another deal"

"What deal?"

"My life in exchange for his"

"You're out of your mind"

"You want to be Alpha. I will give it to you"

"Let's think about that during the next moon when I bring you before the pack"

"He will die before then. The poison is spreading so fast. I might not be able to stop it"

"Well that's his problem to bear"

"You have me. What more do you need?"

"I need you alive"

"If I'm dead. Your position will be stabilized"

"I don't want it that way. I need you to speak to the pack and you are gonna tell

them the exact words that I give you to speak"

"If you don't do it then I won't speak to the pack"

Adam grinned. Alexandra was playing with fire but one thing is for sure, she was going to get burned.

"I will kill him"

She glared at him..

"I had him right In my palms and I can do it again. You better not make me mad because you won't like it when I'm mad" His eyes turned red and Alexandra could feel he wanted to go all out on her.

"I've waited long for this position and now I'm almost there. No one is gonna take it away from me. Absolutely no one!"

"Then let him live. Give me the antidote and I will do whatever you want"

"Are you crazy? Why will do that? Why will you poison someone just to give the antidote the next moment"

"Why must you poison him?"

"You shouldn't have run. You should have been a good girl and stayed put in there"

Alexandra laughed. She didn't think he will think of her as his puppet. The good little girl who listens to what the Alpha says. She wasn't the submissive Luna and more especially she wasn't his mate. Not even Nathaniel could make her turn into the submissive Luna. It won't work out, if Alexandra was going to be quiet it was out of her heart not because she was one of those mate who would submit so easily.

"I never said I was a good girl"

"Now you have to be so deal with it"

"I'm not a puppet. I am not your puppet so I can not be your good girl or any good

girl"

"We will see about that"

"Told you I'm not Olivia"

here, knew it wasn't going to be a good idea"

"Yes I was merely giving you back what you gave to me. A moment of confusion. You trapped me here, chased me down and hurt Nathaniel. That is what I am doing"

"Shouldn't you be more concerned about your lover?"

"If you're that concerned you should give me the antidote"

"Why should I?

Alex scoffed, Alexandra really was underestimating him but soon she when Nathaniel takes his last breath last. She will get to know just what sort of monster like him.

"I want to see you save him"

"I cannot" She lied. Although she was just trying to lead him on.

"What happened to the brave girl a while ago"

"I lied okay. I cannot save him at all"

Adam arched his brow at her. Alexandra wasn't the kind of woman who would give

up so easily. She loved to win at all cost. She wasn't like Olivia. "You cannot fool me Alexandra"

"What?"

"I can see right through you. The desperation to save your dying lover. The burning desire to see his eyes once again. I can feel it!" He spat with venom and Alexandra grinned.

"How hopeless. You really do know me"

"A lot so you should stop wasting time and start thinking of the many ways you

can save him that's if you can" With that he turned around, without a glance or word left her glued to the ground.
