Chapter 218 I Was Wrong
Chapter 218 I Was Wrong
Sophia could only move her eyes. She looked around and understood.
She laughed softly.
Sophia had planned to drive to the coast, tie Daisy with a stone, and throw her into the sea. But before
she could arrive, she had a car accident.
Perhaps this was her fate.
"I hate Daisy. I hate Andrew."
Sophia admitted that she was scheming, but she just wanted to get what should have been hers.
If only she had not been an illegitimate daughter.
"Jane, I really envy you."
Sophia smiled. If there was an afterlife, she hoped she could have a good husband, a happy family,
and parents who loved her.
She had led a miserable life. She had craved a lot, which actually did not belong to her.
"Don't speak. The ambulance is coming."
Jane frowned. As Sophia spoke, blood kept running out from her mouth. The pool of blood on the
ground made Jane sympathetic.
Sophia did do something wrong, but that should not lead to death.
Sophia had never framed Jane. To Jane, Sophia was a stranger who had worked together.
People had their minds, some of which were good while some were malicious. Every man made
mistakes.
"I know how I feel."
Sophia began to see unclearly. She tried to focus her eyes ahead not far away.
If not for this car accident, she and Daisy would have died. Perhaps the car accident would give Daisy
a chance to live. This was Daisy's fate.

Jane realized something and asked in a low voice.
Some people surrounded them. They could tell that Sophia was dying, so they did not stand very close,
afraid that she might bring them bad luck.
"Jane, tell ... tell Andrew... The blood I owed him ... has been repaid."
There was so much blood on the ground. Some were from her, and some from Andrew.
In the next life, she hoped she would be pure and simple.
"Jane, I was wrong."
Sophia's tears ran from the corner of her eyes. She could no longer say anything and slowly closed her
eyes.
"She's gone."
Jane stood up, took out a small blanket from the car, and covered Sophia's face with it.
Now that she was dead, no matter what she had done, Jane could not blame her.
"I thought she looked familiar. Now I remember. She has taken a video to say she had framed another
person for her abortion!"
The people around were discussing. Some felt sympathetic and some were disdainful.
Some people did not understand why Sophia had made use of her own baby. They said she was an
unfit mother. She deserved this car accident.
Jane shook her head. She knew part of the truth.
This matter was too complicated. She had to agree that no one could get away with what he had done.
Sophia had played a trick, because she knew that she could not keep this baby.
And it was Julia and Daisy who led to this.
Todd rescued Daisy from the car. Jane leaned against the seat helplessly in the car. She understood
what had happened.
Sophia had kidnapped Daisy. Then they had a car accident.
"Madam, Miss Cart is seriously injured and unconscious."
Todd felt helpless too. He thought that the driver was drunk, but she turned out to be a kidnapper. One
was dead and the other was seriously injured.
"The ambulance is still on the way, but we can't wait."
Jane estimated the distance. If she wanted to save Daisy, it was best to carry her to the car and head
straight for the urban area. They would meet the ambulance on the way and this could save time.
After all, Daisy had saved her at Sophia and Andrew's engagement party from a fire.
Jane remembered the favor.
Jane discussed with Todd, and finally got Todd's support. With the help of the people around, Daisy
was carried into the car, and one person was willing to follow their car in case of emergencies.
"Mrs. Duncan, thank you."
They finally met the ambulance. The doctor thanked Jane.
Jane saved Daisy ten minutes on the way. Ten minutes was crucial for the rescue.
Not everyone had the courage to do so. Most people would wait patiently for the ambulance, because if
the injured died in their cars, they might get involved.
"I just did what I was supposed to do."
Jane nodded and did not say anything else. She was not in a good mood right now.
When Pearl knew this, she came to see Jane.
"Janie, this has nothing to do with you. If you didn't discover them in time, Sophia might become a
murderer, and Daisy might be killed."
At least, one was still alive.
Sophia kidnapped Daisy and wanted to kill her. Pearl could actually understand Sophia.
After so many things happened, Pearl did not hate Daisy that much. She thought that Daisy was just
paying the price for what she had done before.
"I don't know. I just don't want either of them to die."
Jane sighed. She had faced a lot of troubles recently, and William was not around, so she felt insecure.
Pearl did not know that the Duncans had worries.
Jane was really worried that Nelson's son would come to take revenge and kill her or William.
However, the police could not find any clues. She didn't know anything about the enemy.
Jane was very uneasy and didn't dare to think hard about it.
"I'm calling Andrew."
This kind of accident would quickly be reported by the press. When Pearl called Andrew, he had just
received a call from the police who informed him of Sophia's death.
Sophia drove while intoxicated and died in a car accident.
Andrew was frozen with shock. But Harrison heaved a sigh of relief. Sophia was dead. He wondered if
he should let the Cart family off.
The Cart family was the shield of the Floyd's, so he didn't want to give it up quickly.
And this accident would be a red herring.
An hour later, Andrew arrived at the hospital.
Daisy was still in the emergency room. Andrew met Jane and Pearl at the door. It was said that Jane
had been by Sophia's side until Sophia died.
"Did Sophia ... say anything?"
In just a few days, Andrew might have suffered the most serious blows in his life. He lost his baby, and
then he knew the truth, and finally he lost Sophia.
They happened so quickly, catching him off guard.
Andrew grasped his hair. If he had not said those heartless words, Sophia would not have left.
He just could not accept that he was deceived and wanted to calm down.
Moreover, if he didn't do so, his grandfather would be unsatisfied.
Andrew knew that if Harrison hated the Carts, this matter would never end.
In fact, Andrew had forgiven Sophia when he knew that her baby could not be saved even if she didn't
play that trick.
Sophia was the victim, and Daisy and Julia had drugged her!
Daisy was shameless. When she was still his fiancée, she secretly told William that she loved William
at their engagement party. She was really despicable!
But Sophia was innocent... If it weren't for that wine...
