Amelia and Kieran stared at each other in silence for a few seconds. Then, Amelia backed out of the room and shut the door without another word.

Andy sneered at them. "How dare you interfere in my business?"

The guards exchanged uneasy glances before their leader stepped forward cautiously. "Mr. Moore, please don't make this difficult for us. You are still on the hotel's grounds. You wouldn't want Mr. Morgan to hear about this, would you?"

Lila glanced up at the hotel's logo, finally realizing that this place was one of Morgan Group's properties.

She thought Andy might back off with the security guards warning him.

But instead, he let out a disdainful chuckle. "Are you threatening me?"

"Good. Because while I can't afford to offend Kieran Morgan, I can teach you a lesson. If even a whisper of this reaches his ears, you're all dead." Andy sneered.

Kieran steadied her by the waist. "There's a project nearby. I figured I'd stay here for a couple of days."

"Where's your assistant?" Lila asked.

"Forget about him," Kieran murmured, guiding her to turn and face Moses, who had stopped a few steps away.

He whispered in her ear, "I haven't seen you for a while, and you're already seducing another man?"

Lila elbowed him. "Stop talking nonsense. I barely know him."

"Then why does he look like he knows you very well?" Kieran hummed.

Lila glanced up at him. Why did he sound a little... jealous? That didn't make

sense.

"Thank you for earlier." Moses' voice pulled her attention back.

The blood on his lips hadn't been wiped off yet, and with his smooth skin and striking eyes, the bruises

only made him seem even more vulnerable.

Lila noted he had the kind of face suited for showbiz.

She nodded. "No need to thank me. You should go to the hospital."

Andy's men hadn't held back.
