Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 511: He Sudden Shifted

Ethan hit the table with great force and made a loud sound.

He was angry. He suddenly shifted into his wolf form.

“Nate, stop accusing my wife. If you still want to be alive,”

“C-Calm down, Ethan. I am not your enemy here; I just thought that the evil doctor might have controlled Kylie,” Nate was a little scared but still continued, “Think about it. Why did Stephen bring Kylie to Mountain Elmon? Why did he burn the villa? How could Kylie come back safely on her own?”

Ethan compressed his lips tight but said nothing. He can’t judge his wife because he knew how deep Kylie’s affection towards him. Before long, there was a wet palm mark left on the desktop.

Vincent had to express his opinions now.

Ethan shifted back to his human form.

“Lord Ethan, I’ve discussed it with Lord Nate before. We think it was Stephen’s scheme that he abducted Kylie away. He did that on purpose so that you risked your life to save Kylie. Kylie sides with him and helps him hurt you again now!”

“Stop it! Scram, both of you,” Ethan growled in anger.

Everyone in the room was struck dumb. They knew Ethan possessed great power than them, as he was their highest Lord.

Nate shook his head, moved backward, and fell into the chair.

Although he annoyed Ethan, he didn’t think he was wrong. “Ethan, if you don’t believe it, you can ask Kylie when she’s back later.”

When they were in a fierce argument, they heard the housekeeper’s voice from the outside. “Welcome home, Mrs. Parker.”

“Hi, where is Ethan?”

“Mr. Parker is having a meeting with Lord Nate in the study.”

“Oh, great, I’ll…” Suddenly, Nate pulled the door of the study open, which surprised Kylie, who just reached the door. “Hi, everyone, is this meeting over?” She smiled at them.

“Hey, Kylie, you’ve enjoyed your day today.” Nate looked at Kylie with a fake smile on his face.

Kylie felt a little embarrassed.

“Um, I just walked around,” she said.

“Oh, you put on a new dress.” Nate noticed Kylie’s new clothing with the brand tag dangling. “It’s just a friends’ gathering. Do you need to take it so seriously?”

Kylie was worried that they might have found out the fact that Faith had replaced her in the shopping mall. “I don’t understand what you’re talking about.”

“Kylie, you should know Vincent is in charge of all the surveillance cameras around this city, right?” Nate said to Kylie’s back.

Kylie stopped for a second, then turned around. “What do you want to say?”

“Nothing, but I just want to remind you the whole Seattle is in our sight now. Don’t meet someone you should meet during this special time.” Nate stared at her face.

Kylie squeezed her handbag. “Thanks, I need to have a rest now.” Nate snorted, then went back to the study.

“Vincent, play the video of that night,” Nate said.

Vincent was already prepared and inserted a USB flash drive into the computer. A picture showed on the screen at once.

It was the moment when Kylie arrived at the auto repair shop by taxi.

“Stop!” Nate pointed at the screen. “We can see a taxi driver is a fat man from the picture, but his hand out of the car window is so thin.”

Ethan’s sight fell on the screen as well. The taxi driver’s hand indeed was skinny.

“Play it again.” Ethan made an order while his eyes remained on the screen.

They watched the video again from the beginning to the end. When Kylie failed to catch the handle of the car, she was calling something.

Ethan read her lips and soon figured out what she was calling.

Stephen!

Ethan got angrier. Kylie had slipped out that night not to see Tory, but Stephen!

His eyes were ablaze with fury.

Nate was the one who brought this topic up. Seeing Ethan getting angrier, he was frightened. “Um, Ethan, I think Kylie just made a mistake, and you can tell her to correct it…”

Before he could finish, Ethan slammed the door and left.

“Look what you’ve done!” Vincent blamed Nate.

“Didn’t you add fuel to the fire too?” Nate caught Vincent’s collar and looked aggressive.

“I was worried that Lord Ethan might be hurt again.” Vincent got rid of Nate’s hand. Nate rubbed his nose. “I think we better leave right now, in case we’re punished as well.”

In the master bedroom, Kylie heard footsteps after she hung her coat in the closet.

She composed herself at once, but Ethan already reached her back before she could turn around.

“Where did you go?” He hugged her with his arms.

Kylie turned to hug his neck. “I went to meet Faith in the shopping mall. We shopped together for a while, then went to watch a film.”

Ethan looked displeased and tucked an unruly lock of hair behind her ear. “And?”

Kylie got nervous. Ethan might have seen her in the surveillance cameras, but she soon denied that thought.

If Ethan really had seen her getting in a stranger’s car, he would have sent people to find her as soon as possible.

She told herself to stay calm.

“Nothing else.” Kylie smiled.

Ethan loosened his arms and pulled her to sit at the bedside.

Kylie felt uneasy. “Why are you staring at me all the time?”Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

Ethan put his hands on her knees. “Did you go to meet Stephen?” Kylie was shocked.

Her reaction betrayed her.

“Do you still remember the human-skin mask I’ve told you before?” Ethan said.

Kylie nodded but couldn’t say a word.

“Stephen is the one who studied and developed it.” Ethan caught her hand and let her touch the back of his hand. “Isn’t he really good?”

Kylie wanted to draw her hand back, but Ethan caught it tight.

Ethan smiled again. “Kylie, you lied to my face again.” A burning sensation inside him abruptly awakens his wolf form. He doesn’t want to scare her right now and tried to control himself instead of exposing his real identity at the wrong time.

“I-I just…” Kylie didn’t know how to explain it.

“Kylie, do you know how I found it out?” Ethan’s eyes turn to gold, and Kylie catches it.

“Didn’t you notice the dirt at the bottom of your pants?” he said while looking at her.

Hearing that, Kylie subconsciously looked down, but her mind went messy.
