Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 512: Did You Just Test Me?

There was no dirt at all.

“You…” Kylie raised her head and ran into Ethan’s dangerous eyes. “Did you just test me?”

Ethan snorted, “Tell me.”

Kylie drew her sight back and did her best to stay calm. “What do you want me to tell you, or what do you want to hear?”

“Are you helping Stephen?” Ethan asked. He couldn’t ignore it when he found out solid proof. “Why did he let you come back?”

Kylie didn’t know how to answer that question.

Ethan was already suspicious of her when she told Ethan it was Tory who had rescued her and Dinah last time. Although it was the truth, Kylie had promised Tory that she wouldn’t tell anyone the deal they made with each other.

It wasn’t because she didn’t trust Ethan, but because she was afraid he might ruin the plan if he knew what she was going to do.

Kylie stood up. She picked her sleeping gown, walking to the bathroom, but a big palm stopped her by pressing her shoulder.

She turned to stare at Ethan’s beautiful eyes. “Do you think I was able to come back safely because Stephen allowed me to do so?”

She glanced at Ethan from his head to toe, then smiled all of a sudden. “What do you think I can take away from you to give him?”

“My life,” he said with certainty.

His life was also Kylie’s life!

Kylie trembled a little but still raised a smile. “Sorry, I’m afraid neither Stephen nor I want that.”

“Then what does he want?” Ethan pinched Kylie’s jaw and raised it. “You?” He fixed his eyes on her expression.

Stephen always wanted to steal her away from him, which wasn’t a secret.

Ethan was regretful now. He shouldn’t have forgiven Stephen at the very beginning. He had been too merciful to his enemy.

Kylie felt hurt when Ethan pinched her jaw with great force.

“I think he has no interest in a pregnant woman,” she said.

Ethan’s sight fell on her protruding belly. There were their babies inside, which stood for their love for each other.

However, she still planned to leave him for another man!

Ethan got angry thinking of that. He abruptly removed his hand from Kylie, like it was disgusting to touch her.All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“Well,” Ethan sneered. “I’ll ruin it even if I can’t get it.” After that, he strode out of the room.

Kylie didn’t burst into tears until the door slammed. She loves him so much, and she only wants him to survive.

She would never leave Ethan. Even if he abandoned her, she wouldn’t leave him alone. For now, she must help his injuries heal.

Kylie hid in the bathroom and sent Barbara a message. She told her she already found an excellent doctor, so Adolph could stop contacting Stephen.

She could be safe if she found Stephen herself, but Stephen would never forgive Adolph.

When Barbara received Kylie’s message, she made an excuse and read it in the bathroom too.

Kylie made it seem easy, but Barbara was still worried. She wouldn’t allow Ethan to be in any danger. She was confused about why her son had a severe injury when his not human. Ethan inherited the blood of being a werewolf, a hybrid that possessed strong power only her and Old Parker knew.

If the doctor Kylie found could cure Ethan, it would be the best result. If not, they still had to turn to Stephen for help.

Therefore, Barbara sent a message to Adolph. She said he had been absent when she needed his help most, and now he must do something as a father since his biological son encountered a serious problem.

In a black MPV outside the Parker family’s house, a faint spark shined once in a while.

Adolph frowned after reading the message and smoked cigarettes one after another.

He thought Barbara was right.

No matter how much Stephen hated him, Stephen was his adopted son, after all. He had raised Stephen, and Stephen should be grateful.

Barbara flushed the toilet when she heard a car engine’s sound from outside, then went back to the bed.

Old Mr. Parker rolled and hugged her in his arms. “He’s waited outside for a month till now. Couldn’t you consider my feelings?”

Barbara sighed and asked, “Were you involved in that event that year?”

Old Mr. Parker stiffened a little. He looked at Barbara’s face and saw a line of tears flowing down by her cheek.

“I-I wasn’t,” he said. There was no need to admit it right now.

He thought it had been 30 years. Nobody would know the truth even though Adolph or Ethan wanted to find it out.

It had been kept a secret for so long anyway.

Barbara got rid of old Mr. Parker’s arms, then sat up at a slow pace. “If you admit it, I’ll consider staying by your side, but…”

Old Mr. Parker also sat up in annoyance. “What? Do you want to go back to his side? He’s a jerk!”

“People make mistakes, and…” Before Barbara could finish it, old Mr. Parker interrupted her. “Don’t tell me those bullshits. Just be honest with me. Do you want to leave with Adolph?”

Barbara looked calm. “I didn’t say that I’m going to leave with him, but I won’t stay with a man who has lied to my face for 30 years.”

Old Mr. Parker was out of breath now. He covered his chest in pain. “Who can prove it? Who can? Adolph made you change your mind with several simple words. Have you ever loved me during the past 30 years?”

Old Mr. Parker hit the bed with great force and fought for breath.

He swallowed hard and turned to take the medicine bottle from the nightstand.

His aged hand trembled to open its lid. By a clear sound, the medicine bottle slipped down from old Mr. Parker’s hand and fell on the ground with white pills scattered everywhere.

Old Mrs. Parker got off the bed at once. She poured out the rest pills in the bottle and wanted to give them to old Mr. Parker, but old Mr. Parker grabbed them away from himself.

Seeing old Mr. Parker getting much better, old Mrs. Parker squatted down to pick the pills up one after another.

Old Mr. Parker looked at her, and a touch of cunning flashed by his eyes. “I know you care about me. I know you don’t have the heart to hurt me.”

Old Mrs. Parker stopped for a second, then said without raising her head, “You have the heart to hurt me, but I can’t do that, not because of how much I love you, but because I’m grateful for all your help during the past years.”

There probably was a family connection between them, but it wasn’t romanced at all.

Old Mr. Parker was struck dumb, sitting on the bed. At that moment, he thought he saw the young Barbara.
