His Unveiled Passion

Chapter 456

Wynn fell silent for a moment. When she answered, she sounded very different. In fact, she even stammered, "I-I've eaten."

Tessa immediately knew what was going on.

Wynn overheard them, too?

Tessa started screaming internally. Her face turned even redder at the thought.

It was all Stephen's fault! He made her lose her sense of reason by kissing her like... like that!

That damned kiss even made her forget that she usually had dinner with Wynn every evening.

Wynn must've sought her out during dinner time.

"A-Alright, then," Tessa stammered out a response and ended the call.

After dinner, Stephen pulled out all the stops just to convince Tessa to let him stay the night.

He swore that he wouldn't try anything later and only wanted to hold her while they slept.

Tessa's mind replayed just how she had forced him into hiding when Marianne dropped by earlier, making it seem as though she was ashamed of him. She still felt guilty about that, and because of that guilt, Tessa eventually caved to his request.

Fortunately, Stephen kept his word and didn't try anything. He simply hugged her as they slept.

However, Tessa could sense someone touching her later that night.

She was half-asleep but could still tell that someone was squishing her cheeks, pinching her nose, and even kissing her lips.

It was quite annoying.

She knew that Stephen wouldn't behave himself.

"Oh, screw it," she thought blearily.

She was just way too tired to muster any strength to reprimand him. So, she decided to ignore it.

Tessa slept very soundly that night.

She wasn't plagued by vivid dreams, nor did she wake up in the middle of the night. In other words, she had a wonderful and restful sleep.

It was Sunday today, and she didn't need to wake up early to go to work. Naturally, that meant she didn't set an alarm to rouse her from her slumber.

When Tessa finally opened her eyes, she saw that the clock on the wall was pointing to the number 10. It was already 10:00 am.

She felt as though a truck had run her over. The soreness from yesterday still lingered in her bones. She shifted slightly and saw a forearm beneath her neck.

Since she had been sleeping on her side, it meant she had her back to Stephen. One of his arms had turned into a cushion for her neck, while the other was draped over her waist. He was holding her from behind as he lay on his side.

Frankly, it was a comfortable position to be asleep in. Since Tessa was on her side, her shoulder had created a space for Stephen's arm to pass through, preventing him from experiencing any numbness due to poor blood circulation.

They were pressed against each other, her back practically slotted against Stephen's chest like a jigsaw puzzle.

He was still asleep. After all, they'd done it three times yesterday afternoon. He had to be tired too.

Tessa gently lifted his arm off her waist, intending to slip out of his embrace.

She was just about to get up when his arm tightened around her, dragging her back into his arms.

"Stay with me a little longer," he murmured groggily.

Tessa replied softly, "It's already 10:00 am. It's time to get up."

"Be good. We can afford to sleep in a little longer today," he grumbled sleepily.

Tessa had no choice but to accompany him. It didn't take long for her to doze off

once more.

It was already 11:30 am when she woke up the next time.

It was almost lunchtime.

Tessa swiftly got up and shook Stephen. "Get up. It's 11:30 am. You should wash up and stop sleeping."noveldrama

Natural light filled the room, allowing Tessa to get a good look at Stephen's handsome features.

He slowly opened his eyes, revealing sleep-addled eyes. He looked so attractive

in his sleepy state that it made her breath hitch.

How could he seduce her like this when it was about to be noon?

She had to stop looking at him. Tessa was worried that they might end up

tumbling in the sheets again if she continued to do so. When that happened, she could kiss her lunch goodbye.

Tessa tried not to make a show of looking away from him as she said in a deliberately serious tone, "Stop sleeping and get up."

Stephen's voice was hoarse as he drawled, "Why are you looking away from me?"

Tessa picked up her pajamas and put them on, not answering his question. "I'm going to freshen up."

She stood up as soon as her feet touched the ground. Unfortunately, her actions also made her realize how sore she was. As a result, she wobbled and nearly fell to the ground.

Stephen curled his lips into a smirk and said playfully, "Do be careful, Tess." Tessa harrumphed and muttered under her breath, "This is all your fault."

He was so intense yesterday. Not

only was his stamina terrifying, but

he was also relentless. It definitely

didn't help that he went at it three

whole times before releasing her

from his clutches.

There was no way that someone like her would be able to handle doing it with him

without paying the price.
