As the clinic owner, Sebastian had already left the place. Upon seeing this, Matthew quickly motioned to Renae. "Let's get going, too. We don't want to keep him from closing."

Renae hummed in acknowledgment and ran out the door. Matthew hurried out of the clinic in a matter of seconds and saw Sebastian heading south, leaving the door wide open.

Facing Sebastian's back, Matthew quickly shouted, "You left the door open, Dr. Campbell!"

Leo chimed in as well. "Did you see that? Matthew is hanging out with a pretty woman, having a great time, and flirting like there's no tomorrow, but the three of us are stuck in this car, keeping him safe. The more I think about it, the more it ticks me off."

Dominic nodded. "I feel the same way too, but he took out Isaac. Do you think a regular person would have the nerve to take him on?"

Upon hearing that, Lucien got even more upset. "I'm even more worried now that he's killed Isaac. What if

Mr. Wood sends someone to eliminate him? Should we really protect him?"

After thinking it over, Isaac remarked, "If Matthew dared to kill Isaac, he must have serious backing if he's got more powerful connections than Mr. Wood, building a rapport with him could work in our

favor."

Leo frowned and said, "But I'm concerned that he doesn't have a strong backing."

Dominic nodded in agreement. Leo had a point. If Matthew didn't have any backing, they were all going to be in trouble because of him.

He mulled over it before instructing, "Start digging into Matthew's background, Leo. Make sure you get all the details, and make sure that they're accurate.

Leo leaned closer. "I'm on it. I'll uncover everything and even his family history."

Dominic uncrossed his arms. "I hope your background doesn't let me down, Matthew. Otherwise, we'll get caught up as Mr. Wood's enemies and put our family in dangero
