The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 895

Was the hundred thousand dollars meant for Javier?

Matthew's face shifted into an expression of disbelief, as if he had just seen something completely outrageous.

Javier smirked coldly and directed his gaze to Aiden. "So, he's the one looking to get a medical license?"

Aiden chuckled. "Javier, he's willing to pay a hundred grand for it."

Javier sneered, his tone sharp and unyielding. "For others, it's a hundred grand. For him? It's 200 grand! Not a penny less, or it's no deal."

Matthew's gaze turned icy, his voice as cold as the abyss. "Are you certain you want 200 grand for it?"

Javier's sneer deepened. "Kid, 200 grand is just the price for the medical license. On top of that, you'll also need to apologize and admit you were wrong. And from now on, whenever you see me, you'd better show some respect and keep your head down."

"Keep my head down?" Matthew's eyes flashed coldly as his hand balled into a fist, ready to strike.

Before he could act, a surprised voice rang out from the outside. "M-Mr. Grant?" Matthew frowned and turned toward the voice. "It's you?"

It was Jerome the man who had brought him into Serenity Oaks Community yesterday and who had previously offered him ten million dollars to treat his condition. Though his erectile dysfunction had improved after receiving a bionic implant, Jerome had complained of still being unable to find joy.

Jerome, visibly excited, stepped forward to shake Matthew's hand. "Mr. Grant, are you here to treat me? Thank you, thank you so much."

Matthew's voice remained cold. "You've misunderstood. I'm here to help a friend obtain a medical license. Your security guard is demanding 200 grand and wants me to apologize and keep my head down whenever I see him."

"What?" Jerome froze in shock. He had offered ten million dollars for a treatment opportunity, only to be rejected. He had been searching for a way to ingratiate himself with Matthew, yet this mere security guard dared to extort him and demand respect, no less

His face turned beet red with fury. "Have you lost your damn mind? You dare to demand 200 grand?"

Javier's forehead broke out in a cold sweat, his expression panicked. "I-I didn't know he knew you. If I had known, I would've invited him in and processed his license for free."

Jerome glanced at Matthew's deeply furrowed brows, recognizing the storm brewing beneath his calm demeanor. He knew what to do.

He turned sharply to Javier and barked, "You blind fool! You've crossed the wrong person. Asking for 200 grand? You're done for. And so is your sister, Sarah Cole. I'lhave both of you investigated

immediately."

With a thud, Javier's knees hit the ground as the realization struck-the had kicked the hornet's nest.

Jerome was ready to throw him and Sarah under the bus to appease this mysterious man. noveldrama

Panicking, Javier knelt before Matthew, trembling. "I'm sorry! I didn't realize who you were. Please don't lower yourself to my level. I was wrong. I sincerely apologize."

Matthew scoffed. "Didn't you say I should keep my head down and show you some respect?"

Javier's face turned ashen. "I was blind and foolish... From now on, I'll crawl before you every time we meet. Please spare me."

Matthew snorted coldly, lifting his foot to deliver a brutal kick. "Get lost! Someone like you doesn't even qualify to stand in front of me!"

With a loud thud, Javier tumbled backward, rolling over four yards before crashing into a pillar and coming to a painful halt.

Javier clutched his stomach, letting out a bloodcurdling scream.

Matthew turned to Jerome. "How long will it take for you to get the Cole siblings locked up?"
