The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha

Hearing the familiar voice behind her ear, fanning his hot breath at her.

Bewildered, Alexandra turns around bumping into Nathaniel Starkov. His cold eyes burn into her eyes and Alexandra gazes back at him.

"What are you doing here?" Nathaniel asks

Alexandra glances around trying to figure out the right words to say, she had expected the two guards to show up not Nathaniel.

"I... just around"

Nathaniel gives her a suspicious look. "Why are you here then?"

Alexandra tries to form the right words realizing she had sprayed Olivia with an aphrodisiac and Nathaniel was right beside her. Her eyes widened for she would never want him to be affected by Olivia but what she didn't realize is Nathaniel had already perceived the scent of the Aphrodisiac on Olivia and had gotten a glimpse of the scene happening right before him.

Glancing over at Adams who continues to struggle with the rogues, Nathaniel drops his gaze, inhaling deeply, trying to control himself. "Did you do this?" He whispers

Alexandra opens her mouth and closes it, uncertain what to say since she couldn't deny the fact that she was the mastermind behind this plan.

"Did you do this?"

"Do what?"

"Are you the one that causes this to happen"Alexandra bites on her lower lip, deep down she didn't want to lie but she didn't want to get so verocious either for the last thing she wanted is to piss Nathaniel off and cause him to rebuke her. Catching the sight of the guards running towards Olivia and Adams's rescue, Alexandra holds Nathaniel's hand dragging him away.

Nathaniel groans, unable to control his wolf anymore, helams Alexandra against a tree as soon as they were out of sight, kissing her passionately, and exploring every corner of her mouth, Alexandra kisses him back trying to follow his pace. Nathaniel deepens the kisses, trailing kisses down to her collarbone, and to her neck, he tries to rip off her clothes and Alexandra quickly pushes him away, seeing he was out of control.

Nathaniel runs his hand through his hair realizing he was still under the influence of aphrodisiac yells out loudly, letting out all the energy.

Nathaniel inhales deeply feeling better, he glares at Alexandra. "How could you be so wicked and cruel to your sister?"

"Cruel?"

"You are a horrible person"

"Horrible person? Me?"

"Only a wicked person would dare do that to another human much less your sister, she is your sister Alexandra, where is your conscience"

"Are you done?"

"No. I thought you were a good person, I thought you were different but today, you showed me a different side of you, I don't know who you are anymore"

"What do you mean?"

"Olivia is your sister, despite anything, you should haven't put her in harm's way, do you realize the impact of what you did to her"

Alexandra scoffs unbelievably, pissed off but she exhales.

"So what you are saying is that I did a horrible thing"

"This is a despicable act Alexandra, you should redeem yourself"

"Redeem me? Was I lost?"

"What you did today proves otherwise"

"Do you have any idea what you are saying?"

"Did you see the look on Olivia's eyes when she lay on the ground, she was pleading for rescue yet you stood there and did nothing after you caused her harm"

"You think I could rescue her from an uncontrollable rogue and an Alpha"

"I know you can do much more, you called the guards dididn't you "That's their job"

"And what's yours? To stare at someone's dilemma or maybe to plot wicked schemes against people. Is that your specialty? I thought you were any better"

Alexandra rolls her eyes observing him intently, if only he knew the hell she went through in the hands of Olivia and Adams then maybe he wouldn't stand there judging her but helping her so they would take down those two once and for all. "I'm tired Nathaniel, maybe you should go"

"Yes. That's how you want it to be, running off in the middle of the conversation" "I'm not running alright, is been a long morning and you were dragged here" "Instead of apologizing, you are trying to kick me away, that's very shameless of you"

"Shameless? you think what I did is shameless"

"Not only is it shameless but monstrous. I thought highly of you. I spoke highly of you Alexandra Guerrero but I never thought you were such a person who could cause harm to another person" emotions run through Nathaniel's eyes "When I first saw you, my true mate, I had thought of you as a pure soul with a big heart who will by no means cause bodily harm to anyone much less your sister" he screams the latter "Your sister, Alexandra! My goodness, you scare me. I don't even recognize who is standing right before me anymore?"

"Is the Alexandra I had met in the woods, the one my wolf craves for, my mate, or

is it the monster standing in front of me capable of hurting her sister"

Infuriated, Alexandra molded her fist tightly, she had not expected such words from him all because Olivia, exhaling deeply, gazes deeply into Nathaniel's eyes, her face void of emotions.

"Are you done?" She whispers realizing she didn't need to explain her motives for him to express her anger since he wouldn't understand a thing.

No one would until they find themselves in a place where they are tortured and

bullied by the people they love and thought loved them.

Ignoring her, Nathaniel observes her, he was still angry.

"I will take my leave Nathaniel Starkov" Alexandra turns to walk away

"Maybe... maybe this... Maybe this is all a mistake

Hearing those words, she stiffens, uncertain of what to do, she turn around to

meet his warm eyes.

"What did you just say?"

"You heard me right Alexandra"

Exhaling deeply, he stares at hating the indifferent look in her eyes. "I said maybe

this is all a mistake"
